Honestly, gamer girlfriends are overrated. I dated a few fellow gamers when I was younger, and they all got fat, had no friends, and didn't have the ambition to get a real job. My wife, on the other hand, rarely plays games. She is also in good shape, helps pay the bills and clean up the house, and we don't have to worry about being able to afford two TVs/systems/etc. tl;dr dating a gamer girl is something neckbeard virgins dream of, not real men.

I'm a game enthusiast, but I wouldn't call my interest a hobby. My roommate on the other hand collects games and definitely analyses every single game he finds.
