Only part of the story I hated, total red herring when (SPOILER:) you have to kill that black woman. My impression was that during game testing players sympathized with the socialist revolutionaries too much so they had to add Elizabeth voice lines always saying liberal shit like "wow these revolutionaries are just as bad as the bosses huh" and "these people are bad, we now have to murder them and bring it all back to normal slavery conditions". Also noticed how eerily similar it was to (EVEN MORE SPOILERS:) The Last of Us; You save and protect daughter-like type on a journey of redemption, eventually team up with revolutionary group lead by strong black woman that eventually betrays you and that you therefore have to murder.

That was what annoyed me, it was a game that portrayed labor conflicts in 1912 through the eyes of the dominant ideology of today. The whole "there's nothing you can do to make things better, just try to get by on your own" trope was not in any way how people thought in 1912, it was all out war. Either you where with the union or you where a scab. And I can recommend The Last of Us even though I probably spoiled quite a bit for you, it has the same father/daughter type relationship story going

Altough i never really played this game (unlike other Bilzzard games) i have to say the best fucking story ever is Starcraft. I played and loved Diablo and Wow. Both very good and exciting stories.
