i don't hate reddit. I just don't spend near as much time there as I do on 4chan. I will use reddit occasionally if I'm looking for a specific piece of information and my google search directs me to a particular subreddit.
Otherwise I can't imagine being part of the "community", I don't have a reddit account.
Which is primarily why I post on 4chan, and why I actually like it more than most other websites. No accounts. I don't have to sign up, link my facebook, enter in my email, or otherwise attach anything I say here to myself.
Sure the NSA might have all my 4chan posts cross refrenced to my IP and name and shit, but the jokes on them, I never say anything important.

You have to really try to imagine the average 4chan user. Right now, a good majority of posters and lurkers are sitting there, drinking at noon, have no job, are wearing stained sweatpants and probably wondering when their parents get home so they can have them cook something.
The average 4chan poster is an absolute failure at life. The sexual frustration from a lack of female physical contact pollutes the board with "my sister"/"my cousin"/"my wife" threads where people pretend random images of women on the internet are people they know. These are mostly people who never leave their homes and have no ambition to better their lives.
People here hate everything. I constantly see people say shit like "le" and other things that Redditors don't actually do.
I don't browse Reddit because I hate the layout but if there's a happening, for example like the one in Ferguson, it's far easier to find relevant links, streams, videos and images posted. Redditors are far more organized and mods in subs delete various shit posting. The live update feed on Reddit for Ferguson was immensely helpful.
/pol/ on the other hand was non-stop scroll shit posting. Reddit has a lot of internet detective wannabes but 4channers are literally the lowest form of life. They have nothing to live for and come here to waste time.

There are so many reasons I dont like reddit. I used it a long time ago, but they started banning subreddits and mods started banning people for having opinions. I didn't even like posting there because all your posts gets saved to your account so people can basically track your life.
Also the karma systems fucked. People think they have best opinion, so it gets upvoted, meanwhile best opinion is actually downvoted to shit. Its like people just read what they want to hear rather than be challenged.
