I like how it can go from giant psp to a screen and a dreamcast controller to a screen and two mini-controllers. I'm a single-player kind of guy, but that's still neat.
Everybody seems to be worried about battery life, tho. If it can charge by USB that won't be so bad, but battery life is one of the reasons I still carry my psp instead of my vita (not the main reason, but sill...).
Seriously, though, one of the main reasons I didn't buy a ps4 (and don't have as many ps3 games as I do psp games) is because I'm spoied by portability. I'd rather spend the money on a tablet than a console that will be stuck at home.
Speaking of which, is there any word on other software features for this thing? MP3/MP4, web browser, ebook, anything like that?

The last console I felt genuinely excited about was the N64. I don't think I had the psx yet, and I had never gotten the saturn, so the jump from 2d to 3d was pretty mindblowing at the time. I remember being so hyped up for it. I haven't really played much of the the last couple generations of systems. And I thought the whole motion control thing was a gimmick for kids, so I never bothered with the wii. I didn't do the gamecube either.
