Once you feel great and full of energy, you quit. There's a very narrow sweet spot. You do a bit too much and you'll be grinding your teeth, twitching, and feeling like you're having a heart attack for the next 24 hours.

I'm sensitive to speedy shit too. Effects me a lot stronger and a lot harder. That's why, to me, an energy drink is really all I need, even that gets me wired for hours.
But I do ONE hit of meth and I'm in the sweet spot, any more and I'm uncomfortably cranked and high blood pressure-y for 24 hours, absolutely no sleep and probably no eating either.
Coke is not pleasurable to me and too speedy (and I'm aware the good coke is more euphoric than speedy, but despite trying it dozens of times, I've only had truly good shit once).
I find opiates much more pleasurable, and unfortunately I'm incredibly unsensitive to opiates. It will take me like 50mg of hydros to get high, 100mg to get a good buzz. Oxy like 30mg to get there. Heroin around 200mg to get where I want.
I wish I was as sensitive to opiates as I am to stimulants.

Thanks for advices, I guess I still pref cocaine then. I usually share a tiny bag with a close friend, talk like all evening while smoking some buds and also avoid drinking or doing stupid shit while high.
As somebody was telling in this thread before, it's kinda sad if you think about it but this is one fantastic way to share a deep bond with friends, and I guess it's the main reason why I keep doing it - like - monthly.
Also yes, I'm very paranoid even without doing stuff, the afternight - morning is just hell.
But I started to even like the concequences: knowing I've been high I tend to start "behaving" in a more focused and steady way the day after, which is one of the tricks one must do if you happen to have a quite repetitive and useless work like mine.
Coke (and weed, in some proportion) is the only stuff I think acceptable when you wanna keep being a junkie even after a certain age when responsabilities already came to your life.

Yes, I will be very careful with dosage in the future. After the second set of lines I was afraid I had made a big mistake when ppl said each line could be up to 200mg, but I stayed calm and the amount I took turned out to be OK.
I was expecting increased heart rate and crazy sweatings, but can't say I've noticed any big changes in either, so hopefully I didn't overdo it.
Could use some gum though, gonna try to relax.
I do feel stupid for winging the dosage and just realized how happy I am that I didn't OD.

When I was 17 I went to a night club for the first time, and a classmate offered a line of coke.

Everytime I think about it I regret not going for it, and it only makes me wanna do coke even more.

I wouldn't recommend that. The difference if you don't eat is really staggering. I did lose like five pounds in this last high, but it also includes muscle mass. It's not healthy weight loss.

Basically the duration is you get a 1 hour rush then you spend the rest of the day very slowly coming down. There is a definite end point. I remember dosing at 10 am, and tossing and turning until 4am. Then getting 2 hours of really shitty sleep, waking up feeling terrible, and fucking going to work. I was so out of it everyone at work knew something was up with me. Stopped after 2-3 grams.

I'm a drug enthusiast, but I don't recommend drugs to people because most people are not cautious or restrained when it comes to that stuff, and that'll go bad very quickly.
In my experience, only like 10% of people that do them treat recreational drugs with caution. On the other hand, I think like 40% of all people that really like a drug will just start taking it with reckless abandon.
So yeah, drugs are bad for the majority of people, not because they are inherently bad, but because most people do not know how to moderate their lifestyle at all.

Although no one I know have died, I do have a friend that I used to be extremely close to while growing up.
When we were 15 we both smoked weed together for the first time. It didn't take long until he started taking whatever he could get his hands on, spending all of his money to fuel his addiction.
Me and many others have tried to convince him to quit whatever he's currently on, but to no avail.
Three years ago I visited him to eat dinner and watch football. We had a great time, but for some reason I was stupid enough to ruin the night by bringing drugs into the conversation. I've never seen anyone as pissed of as him when I mentioned it, and it all ended with me getting practically chased out of the apartment, threatened with a beat down.
Since then we haven't seen each other, and he doesn't return my calls.
Last time I called was in august.
The only big difference between us is that I come from a stereotypical middle class family with organized economy and loving parents, while his parents were divorced and both alcoholics to some extend, and perhaps most importantly, his older brother had plenty of contacts when it came to drugs.
I check in on his facebook from time to time, just to see that he's still hanging in there.
