Yes, I briefly considered buying one of those or the FNM16. the base models are reasonably priced but the "military" models are stupid expensive.
If the regular ones didn't have the regular FN rollmarks on the receiver I would pick one up, seeing as I already have the rail but that white rollmark just kills it for me.

You could always DIY it for about half, with a used M5 or M4 rail from KAC. That's another part of what attracted me to the Colt, it was just their standard rollmark, nothing fancy or special on the side. And all said and done it's about 600 less with a used M5 rail

I'm alright with quad rails, when I really started to get into military happenings and shit, it was when quad rails were hot shit and you couldn't get any better than that, then the free float tube, then key mod and whatever is up next.
I don't know if you can be nostalgic about something like rails but I like them a lot.
Anything military spec that's standard issue sucks, period. G3, FAL, AK, AR15s, basically everything that gets issued.

Aside from dripping oil, my truck was problem free until I went to, and returned from BLFC. Since then it's been one thing or another, including maintenance that I should have done sooner. Like the rear brakes.
