Have you held any of these guitars in a store near you or are they only available online?
>>708320310
I mean, in that case the guitar may suit you better. I've just never been big on their regular models. what genre do you stick to usually?
>>708320945
I held a Schecter Omen a couple weeks ago when I went to get some new strings, and I fell in love with it. It's absolutely gorgeous in person. I'm going to go back soon and look at other things. I'm definitely going to get a distortion pedal because this shitty little $100 needs it on those little passive pickups.
>>708320947
I mostly play extreme metal, death metal in particular. I'll sometimes tune all the way down to drop A.
This thread is slowly turning into a pretty crappy one.
>>708321279
What is the average tuning you use? I'm going to guess something like open A or around there.
Side note: any one got any purple(ish) pandas?
>>708321279
then yeah, I'd say it's worth sticking to the guitars. I love the Stiletto, but if you're aching for another metal guitar, Schecter's a good one to go with.
>>708321454
That joke was bad and you should feel bad.
>>708321454
What do you mean :^)
Is it just one guy posting all the shit porn?

*$100 guitar
And I'm going to get headphones too, Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. Not yet though, unfortunately. Still gotta wait till Christmas.
>>708321562
I usually keep it in D# or D standard, but I like C, B, and A as well.
>>708321577
I just wish I had some more options. Schecter was literally the only company I could find that made decently priced extended left handed instruments.

Forgot image
>>708321798
some of the RG8s are supposed to be pretty decent, I've heard.
>>708322008
and I totally missed the left-handed part. not sure if any of them are.
>>708321783
Yep, just ignore him. Let him waste his time with waste pictures.
>>708321798
So you are a left handed player who wants a bass? Go for the first one, I know I would.
>>708322086
Yeah, I couldn't find any. It's stupid how uncommon they are.
>>708322175
Yep. I'm definitely going to have to think about it more. But that Damien is incredibly tempting. $80 less for EMG 81's and 85's, so I wouldn't have to swap pickups. My only gripe is that there's only 2 pots and not 3, and I don't really like the bridge. So it would end up costing me almost $300 more to put active pickups in the Omen.
Anyone else ready for winter?
But if I could, I'd get both of these beauties.

I've loved the Hellraiser for years, long before I knew anything about gay-tars.
>>708322555
Well just go with what works for you. I prefer my Fender over almost any guitar so it's just a matter of preference.
>>708322572
Absolutely.
>>708322875
What model?
>>708322587
Fall hasn't even really started. It was upper 70s today!
>>708322572
Last winter wasn't so bad, at least in my area. Hopefully it'll be the same this year.
>>708323016
It's supposed to get up to 80 tomorrow then back down to 70 Wednesday. After that it should get to fall weather.
I'm just ready for the cold.
