I know how you feel dash, I was in a similar position. They had me try everything, even shock therapy, nothing worked, I didn't care if anything worked. I saw how it was effecting my family and friends and went back one final time and they gave me some experimental medication I don't remember the name of. I spent ~1 hour a day mediating attempting to convince myself that this medication would work and I've actually seen some results. I still think death is a better option than living for my entire life but I can fake it easily and live without it being quite so draining. Even if you know you're faking it, just try, eventually it will actually get easier. And don't do it for yourself, do it for the people around you.
