Bumping. Any good stories? I remember one about a guy who hates fluffies giving one a try and then hates it more and more as time goes on. Anyone know what I'm talking about? I think it ends with a gory play.

Clearing Day
My name is Rodney. I live in a small town in a flyover state. The local economy around here is primarily driven by agriculture so unless you’re a farmer or work in an industry which supports farming, there isn’t a whole lot around here for work.
All of that changed when one of the bigger farmers decided to try his hand at raising fluffies for sale to pet stores across the country. His operation started with a few converted out-buildings in his farm yard and quickly grew to the point where he had to build several dedicated rearing barns. I managed to snag a job as a general laborer. While I’ll admit that the pay isn’t great, the job itself is pretty easy and unlike regular livestock, there isn’t much chance of getting injured by a fluffy.
We keep ten stud stallions at any given time. The stallions are kept separate from the mares at all times. In fact, aside from the brief time they spend with their mother, they may not see another female fluffy for the rest of their short lives. Early on, they tried letting them fuck in the natural way but it seems that a fluffy stallion is only good for one shot and then falls asleep. This is okay when you have five mares per stallion but not so good when the operation grows to fifty per stud. It’s not worth it to scale up the number of stallions in order to keep the ratio low. Instead, the stallions get “milked” once per day. The collected semen is mixed together before being frozen because keeping bloodlines straight isn’t a thing with fluffy breeding.
>>708184082
The mares are kept in pens inside climate controlled rearing barns. Each pen features a plywood nesting box for each mare along with a food and water area, play area and a communal toilet corner. Each play area features an LCD monitor displaying select shows from Hasbio’s FluffTV OnDemand. I couldn’t explain why but it seems that having the TV’s in each pen leads to calmer, happier mares which in turn, leads to better foals.
The great thing about fluffies is that, being a genetically engineered organism, you can almost set your watch to their development cycle. Foals are born thirty days after insemination and mares can become pregnant again in as little as a few hours after giving birth. Once they reach sexual maturity, a mare can pump out a litter every month for about two or three years before her ovaries run out of eggs and her uterus is shot.
Speaking of artificial insemination, instead of the usual pipettes, we use a contraption that looks more like a big syringe mounted inside of a caulking gun with a silicone rubber replica of a stallion’s dick on the end. The process is pretty simple. Dip the tip in a jar of antibacterial lube, lift tail, insert, one trigger pull, remove and done. Come back a few hours later and redo any mares who aren’t singing about being soon mummehs again. Hell, I’ve even done them while they were nursing their newborns. The dumb little fucks seem to love being preggers. Must be something in the way Hasbio programmed their DNA that makes them want to reproduce as much as possible.
>>708184158
When the foals are born, we oversee the deliveries for several reasons. The first is to make sure that we don’t lose a mare to complications. It’s very rare but it does happen. The second reason is to remind the mares that food is still plentiful and readily available so that they don’t eat any of their offspring. It’s pretty rare but I have seen hungry mares gulp down a foal. The third reason is so that we can remove any stillborns, runts or alicorns right away. The first two are trash but a healthy alicorn foal can command a healthy profit regardless of colors. Any alicorns we get are immediately moved to incubators in a separate building and hand reared to market age.
Other than the initial assistance during birth, mares and their litters are largely left alone for the first three days. On the fourth day, we perform photographing, sexing and RFID tagging of the foals for our online inventory. Once on the website, foals may be sold any time between day four and day fourteen.
Day fifteen is what we call “clearing day.” Any unsold inventory left at that point is disposed of. Why? The idea is that removing any leftover suckling foals frees up resources within the mare’s body to put toward the litter developing inside her.
Do I agree with it? No. It seems like we waste some perfectly good foals. Then again, my father always told me not to argue with the teachers who grade my homework or the bosses who sign my paycheck.

You don't seem to know where you are
>>708184227
Her tag number was 337. I called her Fawn because she was an appaloosa Earthie with mixed reddish-brown and white fluff with white spots on her back. She looked like the fluffy version of a baby deer.
Out of the hundreds of fluffies at the facility, Fawn just seemed to be my favorite for some reason. I treated her like a pet instead of a breeder. I gave her extra attention whenever I was in her pen. I gave her the odd apple treat now and again. I even sometimes snuck her outside during the summer so that she could enjoy the grass and sunshine. This relationship is probably why she trusted me whenever I removed her excess foals during clearing day. “Oh, don’t worry.” I told her while gently stroking her mane. “They’re going to good homes.” She trusted me so thoroughly that she even licked my hand as I took he babies.
Little did Fawn know that her foals really had a date with either an industrial meat grinder or a medical waste incinerator.
>>708184309
Whether a stallion or a mare, all breeding fluffies have a useful lifespan. Stallions will eventually suffer from erectile dysfunction or low viable sperm count. Intensive breeding causes mares to run out of eggs after only two or three years. Repeated stretching from litters causes damage to the blood vessels supplying their uterus resulting in an increased rate of birth defects, runts and stillborns. We don’t keep mares around to be milk providers and an impotent stallion is worthless to the operation. We also don’t sell any of our spent breeding stock on as pets. On the clearing day at the beginning of every month, I get a list of adult fluffs to dispose of who have reached the end of their useful life as breeders.
As I looked down the list of fluffs to select for insemination, my heart sank. Fawn’s tag number wasn’t on there. I flipped the page over and quickly scanned down the list for termination.
“Building 3, pen 4, #337”
My heart sank further.
I knew that eventually, this day would come.
It had to.
Fawn was a little over three years old now. She’d been a good producer in her time but, now the rate of birth defects and stillbirths in her litters had reached the cutoff point. Management wanted her gone.
>>708183444
We're all edgelords here newfriend
>>708184419
I rushed through to finish up my other duties. There were fifteen fluffs on the termination list this month including two stallions. I had no special attachment to any of them so the dispatch and disposal was easy. Retrieve fluffy, take it to the area near the incinerator, hold it still and administer a captive bolt gun to the skull. Throw the body onto the grate and repeat. Fawn was special though. She deserved better.
“Go outside an pway on gwassies?” Fawn giggled as she trotted along next to me. “Wuv pway on gwassies!”
“Yeah and the sun is so nice and warm today!” I beamed. “And I’ve even got a treat for you!” I said while patting a bulge in my pocket.
I picked up Fawn as we reached the exit door. The gravel outside was crushed rock like you’d use on a driveway. It was fairly sharp and hurt her hooves so I always carried her over to the grass. Once on the grass, she kicked and rolled and frolicked. She sniffed a dandelion and munched some clover. Fawn was a happy fluffy.
can someone explain to me wtf the point of these threads are
>>708184516
“Fawn, come here and get your treat!” I said while beckoning her over to me. I pulled a sandwich bag out of my pocket with a few apple slices in it and sat down. Fawn waddled over and lay down next to me. The two of us sat together in silence; enjoying the sunshine and nature in general. I fed her apple and she happily munched away.
When the treats were gone, Fawn lay her head on my leg. She rubbed her cheek on me and cooed and purred in contentment. Fawn was a good fluffy. She would have made an excellent pet if only I could have kept her. Unfortunately, that wasn’t possible. I had to do what I had to do.
I put both hands around Fawn’s neck. I started gently massaging her to keep her calm. She trusted me. Slowly, I increased the pressure. More and more. I felt her body start to tense up. She knew something was wrong. Fawn started actively trying to break free. The more she fought, the tighter my grip. I heard her gagging and gasping for breath. I knew her mouth would be open, her little purple tongue would be hanging out and her eyes would be bulging out of their sockets. I didn’t look down. I didn’t want to see her like that. Instead, I stared straight ahead into the distance.
>>708184630
~PFFFFTTTHHBBBTTT~
The smell of shit and piss hit my nostrils. Fawn’s natural defense mechanisms were kicking in. She was really fighting me with her full strength now. I don’t know why, but singing a hymn from church just seemed appropriate.
“Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I'm found,
Was blind, but now I see.”
I felt Fawn’s windpipe collapse. The sound was like a stalk of celery snapping. I released my grip and switched to stroking her back. I could hear her choking and gasping desperately for air that would no longer reach her lungs. I felt her one foreleg touch my thigh; as if she was trying to ask why I’d betrayed her. My gaze never left the horizon. I kept stroking her back and singing until the life left her body.
“Through many dangers, toils and snares,
I have already come.
'tis grace that brought me safe thus far,
and grace will lead us home.”
THE END.

If you don't enjoy it what does it matter?
>>708184846
because im genuinely curious what the point of these threads are
>>708184570
for people like you to come in and ask what their purpose is. It's really meta.
no but seriously, everyone has different reasons.
A lot of people are edgelords, but i personally enjoy the physical comedy.
I also get a kick out of the fact that so much effort gets put into drawing these things.
In other words, sometimes I get the same amusement out of seeing these as you may out of a "sonic OC". It's just so autistic, you can't not laugh.

some people use it as a way to vent their anger when they meet someone who is a total cock. It's kind of a substitute for their anger so they don't take it out on anyone they actually care about. That is what I've learned.

How autistic can you get? I'm really trying not to be a grammar nazi here, but I tend to lose a lot of enjoyment when I'm reading a comic that's been poorly translated to English, especially by the source artist/author. Sure, I can still look at and appreciate the pictures and artstyle, but then I lose a decent chunk of context by ignoring the dialogue and/or narration.
>>708188191
If you're drawing on paper, you can use a scanner or some people use a good desk lamp and their cell phone camera then clean up with an image editing program.

they also programmed them to be garbage in the wild. though this contradicts all the feral narratives.

>>708191299
Growing big and strong is part of a lot of culture surrounding babies though, I think it's just part of their rudimentary intelligence.
>>708191537
I thought fluffies were in the prototype stage and were released by animal activists?
>>708191659
as the last comic demonstrated, that is generally a real shitty idea, so generally people don't do this, and these things are prone to stillborns.

It does happen in the wild provided there are enough resources and a mild enough climate.
>>708191988
that was the head-cannon for the existance for ferals, which has lead to lots of arguments, and reasonable ones stating that "even if they CAN reproduce like rats, these things are too broken to survive a generation"
the problme there is that people want Ferals to be a 'pest' to justify feral abuse, which is kinda sick that some one wants to feel righteous for abuse, but the problem there is that IF the feral could survive generations, the high attrition would RAPIDLY evolve the following generations of fluffies, and no one wants that.
so yeah... the ferals as pests are kinda bullshit... but this is for the weak fucks who want their abuse to be 'justified' rather than "who the fuck cares?"
>>708192730
Bah gawd!
>>708192488

>>708192854
yeah, but that ain't what they get.
they get cities, predators, inadequate nutrician that does not support their digestive or reproductive systems, they are stupid as hell, and super delicate to any kind of trauma. they are not meant to survive outside of homes.

but then they'd die faster. this is already an animal whose rate of mortality is absolute and is somehow expected to keep making generations WHILE getting WEAKER!? its just too much.

>>708193682
why not jsut raise then in captivity, in farms, shops, mills and hasbio, and rejects who can't be sold make it onto the streets. makes sense, the fluffies won't live long outdoors, but they have a constantly replenishing supply form the shops. and the smarties cans keep building and decimating herds of rejects over and over till they themselves buy the farm
>>708193682
Well I've not really read much into the programmed dying thing. I think I joined the fluffydom after feral became a regular thing, so I haven't really thought about it.
>>708189975
whenever i hear "huff huff..biggest..poopies!" I immediately get angry and become an abuser.
>>708194076
They aren't specifically programmed to die. It's more that they were built "soft and weak" for indoor life which isn't "hard" enough for the rigors of surviving outdoors.
>>708193641
They're kind of genetically unstable and after getting out there are no people to make sure the right fluffies mate with each other, inbreeding and such might make changes.
>>708193789
>>708193641
only the ones fit enough to survive sexual maturity and reproduce, thus passing on their genes, the next generation is as competent as their parent, they do it again, some more adequate individuals reproduce, and so one eventually creating, strong/ fast/ smart, or competent fluffy mutants.
to me that would be an interesting story if evolution were allowed to happen to these things. a small herd that has survived several generations and are relatively self aware, smart and capable, maybe even speak proper english, end up at a shop somehow and see the genetically broken fucks they once were.

yeah, but that brings back the evolution argument.
do you want fluffies to evolve or not, becasue if you do, Ferals have to be much tougher, smarter and better than other fluffies, enough that they can believably survive in the wild.

would they be nomadic or still have nests? would their fertility cycles start following a seasonal trend like other animals?

>>708195946
I would agree with everything but the reluctance. Maybe a bit more cautious, but they are heavily programmed to love humans in most canon. Wary, that's the term I would use - they know enough to know people can be bad, but even so they will obey or come to someone calling them. Just my thoughts though.

I think a combination of nomadic and nest building would be how they survive. Move around in the gentler seasons and hunkering down during winter.
If they got a bit smarter, they might get each other to stop breeding at the first sign of fall.
>>708180433
Perfect timing.
>>708196336
Hmm, so fight, flight or stealth.
if fights, they would be territorial, with great sexual dimorphism and aggression in males, much like apes.
flight, I imagine they would be more nomadic, like deer, smaller herds and would get eyes on the sides of their heads to better detect predators, smell and other sense would be improved for all.
Stealth, primarily scavengers, maybe a pair and one of two offspring tops, nomadic, and largely avoids humans and other herds,
basically koiwolves.
>>708196426
I'll make sure to keep that in mind the next time someone bothers to take the trip up my drive to my house. For completely hypothetical reasons of course, none of us are purveyors of the scrumptious flesh of our own kind.
>>708196721
Well glad you were flattered. Was not my intention, more of just letting you know you are appreciated and have made quite a mark.
Marination is a bit iffy, needs to be done just right or it can ruin the natural taste of the meat.
>>708196721
Also love how one of the kibble pieces is a jellenheimer. Nice Easter egg.
>>708196988
I felt awkward drawing it. About as awkward as drawing pic related. Awkward and amused. I was thinking of some commercials I see nowadays. They´re just so over the top, I can´t help but laugh.
>>708197002
well that would make sense for their fertility cycles to be limited to the seasons, that might be a turning point for some of them.
what about toughening them up in the hooves and muscles to make them subtarrianian like rabbits?
>>708196721
is that fluffy orgasm inducing kibble?
>>708197002
Also hunkering down during winter would entail them gathering food that can stay good for a long while. So maybe nomadic teams that gather throughout the spring, summer and fall and periodically come back to add to the stockpile.
>>708196736
Yeah that sounds reasonable, that was kind of what i was getting at.
>>708197203
All of those three could happen simultaneously, by different groups surviving in different ways. It would also provide different themes for conflict between the groups.
>>708197435
See, now that thing...I would dump so much .303 British into that thing...
It probably wouldn't die and the next guy will find my blood stained SMLE No.4 but still...
>>708196736
>Maybe a bit more cautious, but they are heavily programmed to love humans in most canon
yeah, but these are mutations, their programing is breaking through natural selection.
though finding a nice human and feeling a strong inclination towards and non-violent human, bits of that programing might flare up.
>>708197510
Well I could see that happening for fluffies who live in rabbit country. They could encounter an abandoned rabbit den and rising populations would force them to make their strongest work on expanding it. After a while, strong diggers would be considered attractive mates and thus evolution in that direction begins.
>>708197338
That´s what I find flattering. It´s great to know that just like I became inspired by some artists on the booru, I myself became an inspiration to others. That is... actually really amazing.
>>708197670
It´s just damn good kibble.
>>708197889
"Be nu daddeh?"
What is this?
>>708197738
>All of those three could happen simultaneously, by different groups surviving in different ways. It would also provide different themes for conflict between the groups.
but always have the shitty fresh from the shop rejects that all groups hate, but maybe one likes to use/capture.
maybe the fight fluffies have these brutal urban turf wars that humans keep finding the after math of and abandoned fluffies mares are taken as breeders by the fight fluffies to replenish their numbers.
but only the stealth fluffies know where they go in the day. but good luck finding or catching one.

>>708198925
would they fight with sharp teeth and strong jaws? or hard skulls and heavy hoofs?
>>708198616
Depends on whether they survive by numbers or foresight.
If they survive by numbers, huge herds would help them survive during the winter, since it would be "dead fwuffy nummies time".
If they survive by foresight, they would make food stockpiles and be territorial and have wild fluffy wars.
>>708197889
Ever watch The Thing? Bullets might slow it, but what you really need is fire and explosives. Heavy gloves as well, no need to catch whatever it might have.

2spooky art 4me. But yeah, be proud of being an inspiration, I vaguely remember you posting on here months and months ago, I think it was possibly your first time posting your stuff on fluffies? I´m Czech. Northern part of the republic. I´d make a pun about getting dubs quite often, but that seems too cliché.
>>708199114
if we are going by numbers and attrician, its not a big change, just a mildly better version fo the existing fluffies.
foresight, the fluffies can survive intelligently with stockpiles, but if they are aggressive and avoid contact with humans but will still out reproduce and fuck up similar herds and come into their terrirotory,
that would make for some interesting stories.
every night the alleys are alive with battle, then in the morning only a few dead toughies around out and the rest are back in hiding.
>>708199750
That's the tweest. He thinks he's giving her "the personal treatment" when really, he's making her suffer more.

I think dogs have co-evolved with humans for longer, but I know what you mean, but cats and hunters, dogs are scavengers, dogs are more socially inclined, thus why humans domesticate them so well. .
>>708199457
"They're coming outta the walls. They're coming outta the goddamn walls. Let's book!" I've never seen the film, but I can imagine a swarm of those monster fluffies - feeling no pain and aggressively surging forward even as rounds thunder around them, splintering bone and punching through corrupt flesh. Have to make sure you end up saving a round for yourself, beats ending up like them, or worse.
>>708200289
Dogs are pack animals. They see you as the dominant leader of their pack and so they're subservient to you.
Cats are solitary hunters which is why they don't give two fucks about you unless you're giving them free food.
>>708200007
I don't know, urban life sounds like a death trap to me. Stealthy fluffies in small groups might survive there, but anything that looks like a herd would have to live in the countryside in my opinion.
>>708200185
Ah yes, first time I got those.
>>708200289
>>708200482
Good points, I should have thought of that in advance. I do apologize.
>>708200482
Cats are social animals though, sure they tend to hunt for themselves, but they also join each other in groups and socialize.
They do a similar socialization thing with us and can grow quite fond of us. If your cat gives no shits about you, you haven't made an effort to socialize it and made it clear that you are a family unit.
>>708200538
>urban life sounds like a death trap to me
Yup. Too many humans around and if there's a kill on sight order where civilians can either act on their own or report fluffy activity to an agency, they'd be gone pretty quick.
We have that sort of thing for the rats here in Alberta which was put to use down in Medicine Hat several years ago when someone discovered rats at the city dump.
>>708200124
I enjoyed your story. Unintentional cruelty is a classic fluffy theme.
Posting on 4chan you end up with a better audience. If people like it, they comment. if they don't, they don't. Too much negativity on the booru.
>>708192855
Some people like thier porn out doors and some people like thier guro outdoors.
Evolutionary there is little reason why it couldn't happen depending where they are released and when in the prototyping stage it was. A fluffy that needs specific feed and constant washing probably wouldn't be that popular of a product.
Also this is a loose collection of fiction that only needs to include smallish fluffy horses, there's little reason to be anal about it.
>>708200920
This, lots of cats go out of their way to bring "gifts" to their owners.Hell, mine brought back a dead rabbit once.
>>708195031
We have the means to kill the mosquitoes, but bioethicists don't really want to risk wiping off yet another entire species because of the possible negative effect on their ecosystems. Instead we are currently genetically manipulating human-disease-carrying mosquito species to make them inhospitable hosts.
>>708201310
Want to know why they do that? It's because your cat thinks you're a retarded kitten who needs to be taught how to hunt. They'll often bring back dead animals for their young and then crippled live ones for them to practice on.
>>708201310
Actually those gifts are the cats way of trying to teach you to hunt.
Examples of loving cat behavior is rubbing noses, which means it considers you an equal it likes. Laying on it's back exposing it's belly, which means it trusts you enough to give you a free kill in the expectance that you wont, as the tummy is their weakest point. Seeking out body contact is also a sign of them liking you.
>>708200538
dammit, I love my new "toughies" idea, of the fight fluffies, they nest away from humans, but do still scavenge and gather, but have urban turf wars. the only humans who have to live in areas with toughies are people who can't afford a better location and have to listen to screams, batterings, and throwdowns every night. maybe the guy there is so sick of these fights he tries to break them up by throwing a Molotov out the window at them. with kills and few and makes them disperse, but then they resume the fight somewhere else in the neighborhood.
Hasbio claims no liability for this shit because these are not the same fluffies they programed.
>>708201159
its the fact that people want the abuse to be some how 'righteous' that I take issue.
if they settled for, 'its fun' I would feel better.
>>708201838
It might work if you made them nocturnal and had them live in the drainage systems of larger cities.
So they sleep in the daytime and scavenge/fight in the nighttime.

that's what I was thinking, creatures of the night,a nd if they travel in droves, people tend to avoid them as they are aggressive. now say every time a fluffy mare is abandoned, the toughies capture her for breeding, so they can have strong numbers than the other herds, and having already a primitive concept of eugenics, they kill weak foals, sort of a fluffy spartan society. exterminators don't want to fuck with them, and they all murder the fuck out of normal fluffies with the exception of mares.
>>708203142
I gotta figure out a way to make a story about a herd of fluffies getting into a lsd stash. Perhaps they'd find a bag of sugar cubes near a electronica festival or something.

that would be funny, and then their is the one toughie who thinks this is stupid and just socks on of the speakers and the others join the sick throw down, leaving the guy to wake up and throw beer bottles out the window at them till they break it up.
could also have a smarty try to boss and herd of toughies and get super wrecked.

Or they blame each other for stuff the human throws trying to get them to leave.
