>>706876933
>>706877329
Dunno about you, but this game makes me feel fucking uncomfortable. Like after the halfway point of the game its just, eugh.
>>706878218
It's just great, actually.
>>706876933
The book was a good read as well.
>Fuck the image size limit.
>>706878727
Looks like a more badass version of the Boy of Silence.
>>706879040
The actual "I have no mouth and i must scream" is about 20ish pages. This book was a bunch of his short stories.
After I played the game I had to have the book so i got this first edition. Printed 1965 which is why its beat to hell.
>>706879329
Just checked my toolbox. It was printed 67. I dont like talking out of my ass and had to prove myself wrong haha
>>706877443
any oddworld game is a good oddworld game
except that one, you know the one
Original half life. Surface tension is till one of my favorite levels in gaming.
>>706880326
Ugh, loved half-life but surface tension was just... meh.
>>706877329
Wasn't that the point though?
>>706876933
Starr Wars Racer was fucking great. I wish I still had the disk so I could play again :(
Pathologic (2005)
its so hard to talk about it, i guess id say its a game that beats you up really hard with gameplay mechanics and then brings you to this transcendent high with the story and the npcs personalities. Its their first game and instead of some indie pixel bullshit they went for the biggest piece of meat they could chew, and even though they cant really chew it the mad ambition is way more lifelike than any other "feels" game.
>>706877329
what is this?
>>706876933
Also a great game. Legit was just fun. Interesting characters, cheesy, huge variety in levels, characters and weapons. I loved this game!
This and the original.
>>706881325
Don't you mean cartridge?
>>706877644
This is a good choice.
This.
This, the expansion packs, and the sequels.
>>706881769
Everyone this shows up in one of these threads I get a little happier. Probably the most fun I've ever had with a game and I'd love to see it remastered for PC. I can't imagine the stuff that'd show up for mods and extras
>>706877821
>also RR2
>also the ps one
Super metroid, for me it is just perfect.
No pictures but:
Alundra
a ps1 zelda-like
Bushido blade
>tfw you know all the moves
>and drag out the fights until
>the opponent is limping with busted arm
>tfw you realize gun boy is not final boss

do like these anons and bring something good
>>706881380
I think it takes a certain strength of character to finish this game. Let alone three times to get the endings.
Lawn Darts
>>706876933
An old space exploration game called Starflight. It had everything. Ship improvement, crew training, exploration, mining and hunting, the works. Best part? Once you finish the story, win or lose, you can keep playing.
Still fun
>>706883645
my first playthrough took a week with no cheating or walkthroughs and it was so unreal- i'd feel like shit in real life, just turning the game off and looking at the ceiling type, but the characters and constant unwarpping the story kept making me want to know more and fight through it. Ive only played through twice but theres so much depth to it, they dont just give you three different endings, but they rewrite major characters in the different playthroughs like in claras story, the other MCs love interest cant see the future and repeats everything a rat-masked sewer dwelling actor tells her, and pathologic just keeps on rolling along like thats not even the most shocking change they made
This was cool before shooting treyvon
>>706883643
Don't forget the metal age. Fucking Mechanists man.
This game rocked when I was 11
Some heat here
Played through this alot
My favorite of all time
>>706876933

>>706878727
Listen to the author reading this. His inflection and timing is perfect.
freespace 2 1999 and they still making mods for it . right now blue planet mod
(more like a whole game) looks like game from 2008-2010
>>706877329
You always were a kidder, Steve.
Finished it again today actually, went full technological gunslinger for the first time.
It is really well done, a bit clunky. But still holds up against newer rpgs.
>>706886992
Oh man, I played the first one to bits!
And as you say, it had the look and the controls of a game that could have been made around 2010.
>>706886899
Is it really good? I haven't played that game but might give it a go.
>>706886662
You mean I'm not the only one who played rayman 2??? I've never heard someone bring it up
>>706877329
anyone got a link to this?
>>706877329
what game is this
very neat game
This game was a great take on the real time strategy, complete with great story, which could be explored from a combination of different viewpoints. Top notch voice acting, with Tim Curry playing one of the gods. It was and is a great game, even to this day.
>>706885625

They also made it for dreamcast not just the N64 you newfags
Super SFII after this one was okay and they added a few new characters, but after that, it just got really cartoony and turned into Darkstalkers. MvC is when it really jumped the shark.

>>706888608
You have to download it from Blizzard now, so having the CD doesn't matter. My old CD key didn't even work anymore. I guess it came up in a keygen sometime in the last several years and got banninated.
>>706880326
Yeah, this shit. It's still awesome.
>>706886165
I love MST3K. brings back the good memories from childhood watching the show with dad and sister.
"Face" stage. Low gravity.
>>706885361

Also MST3K is fucking great
WCIII was good and WoW's just it's own silly animal. But WC peaked in the late 90's before they added heroes and shit to unbalance the scales. RTS meant something.

I wanted to do a gunslinger build but find my inventory so full of junk.
Been a long time since I finished, how's the late game for the gunslinger? No need to spell it out, just looking for a sense of whether or not I'll just be frustrated and burned out.
This really is an excellent game though.
>>706889318

>>706889906
Sorry to disappoint but I don't have nudes of my sister. Have some Laci Greene instead.
>>706890287
Oh man, late game is a bit too ridiculous. I felt too OP with my stun grenades and 20-40 dmg 13speed gun. Was really fun mid game though.

One of my top 3 games of all time. Still play it with Disco, and the occasional singleplayer run through
>>706892972
Bought it for steam, on a humblebundle some time ago, I've been wanting to play it for several years now, Only thing is it looks awfully scanlined and I can't find a solution, still, looks awesome though.
>>706892436
Saw part of a play through for Phantasmagoria and thought it looked really cool. I dont really like FMV or adventure games but should I try this one out?
>>706881769
been wanting to play this game for fucking 10 years now
>>706893290
There is no solution. It's an old game. Just play it.o r bug the shit out of the company to do a remake.
>>706882209
ayy i was just playing this last week
>>706893319
Yes, if you like horror

>>706892440
Ghost and goblins, fuck yea bro
>>706893409
I actually found one now that I remember, there's kind of a FMV codec stuff, but I only managed to get it working on a 4:3 ratio, still good but I forgot about it now that im re-playing the Bioshock remasters.
>>706893489
I'll have to give it a try, saw part of the second one, he was walking round an office and strange thing were happening, really intrigued me for some reason.

This is a top 5 console game of all time. Right when it came out, nobody would ever thought a goddamned Duck Tales game would have been worth a damn, but it holds up.
>>706892301
I owned both, and honestly, KI got pretty silly with the combo system. It was influential on other games who figured out how to reign in in a little (pic related), but fights were usually just the same combo-after-combo, unless you threw breakers, then it was the same shorter-combo-after-shorter-combo.
Tekken was the first series that really got combos right.
Why has no body posted mario cart. wtf is wrong with you idiots. my god.
any of the lucas arts STARWARS fps shooters form the 90's. those are a trip down memory lane.

I still remember waiting for this game and then waiting for years to get a pc that can run it. Once i finally played it, it was the most meh game Ever. I would get it If you posted q1, q2 or q3. But this game feels to new to feel nostalgic about
>>706882300

I don't know how many other people even played this game, let alone owned it, but it probably got the most hours of gameplay on my SNES outside of any Square RPG. Really, really good and very underrated side-scroller, if on the "near impossible" side. I could get to the final boss but still never beat it without a Game Genie.
>>706890454

Rome Total Realism (the mod) rocks in hundreds of ways.
Last I heard about it, there was a mod called Europa Barbarorvm that took over the job of RTR and greatly expanded the base game. It's still worth getting a copy for the mods alone.

>>706887331
It is gold.

Cause it doesn't hold up. If you back and play more than just the first hour of the nostalgia replay, you realise how much it sucked and want to just play Bioshock instead
This
And still the GOAT of the GTA series campaign mode. V was a close 2nd but not nearly as expansive.
This is my favorite FF game. There are many like it, but this one is mine. VI is the Buddha of FF games.
>when the story had to be good because it was still limited by 16-bit graphics, which were still really fucking good for its time.
Thisss

Civ 2 was the Civ game I blew the most time on. I'd sit down to play a few turns, then look up at some point and realize I'd missed 2 meals and it was dark outside.

I've wanted to replay toy story 2 for such a long time. Still remember having difficulty in the first level as a kid. Final battle felt anti climactic to me, though

Really? I actually prefer the second one for some reason. I still play it every few months all the way through. It's perfect braindead gaming you can just stick on whilst you listen to an audiobook
>>706904031
Yeah I played Worms too.
The grand daddy. Awesome still if you can get it to run.
2006 game, still pretty fucking decent
