Ingredients:
1 1/2 - 2 lbs of ground pork
1/2 cup of chopped jicama
1/2 cup of green onions
1/2 cup chopped carrots
1 1/2 tablespoon soy sause
1 egg
1 teaspoon of salt and pepper
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1/4 cup bread crumbs
eggroll wraps
Paste:
1/2 cup of water
1 tablespoon of flour
Mix together the paste and heat it up. This will be used to keep the wraps from unwrapping.
Put the pork into a mixing bowl and add all dry ingredients.
Then add your wet ingredients and mix well (I normally just use a big spoon to mix)
Then you get your wraps and put some of the stuff you just mixed and put it on one edge of the wrap and start wrapping it up.
Before you get to the end put a little bit of the paste on the other end of the wrap so the wrap stays together.
The depending on the size of your wraps cut them to the size you want and repeat.
This will make about 80 little Lumpia.
Heat up oil to 350 F (dont ever heat above 400 or the oil has a chance to combust)
Then add a few Lumpia at a time and cook until the wrap is crunchy or until the ends start to blacken
You can freeze the Lumpia you didnt cook and cook them later :)
