I feel yah, cutting somehow makes shit easier to deal with. Think we are kinda similar. I did slice both my wrists while in a mental hospital, but the night shift found me after I went head first in the floor, so needles to say I survived. In the moment NOTHING is worse than failing to an hero. But now I'm glad I didn't die. Got my shit together and I am also taking a master's degree.

most of these are cuts but the burnmarks I did with cigarettes. The one on my arm was gruesome, it opened up the size of a silver dollar and it was all yellow fat and veins. I pressed the wound together and wrapped my arm with duct tape then waited a week. Healed fine

green is where I slipped in the tub as a kid, my buckteeth went though the space between my bottom lip and my chin. I had a black tooth for most of my childhood as a result and didn't smile much.
burn scars are from when I tripped and fell on a red hot steel drum while my dad was burning brush and the like, I remember it being so painful I couldn't do anything but laugh for an hour.
the red on my thumb, I accidentally stabbed myself with a pen during an art class, got a small tattoo out of it though.
blue was a hernia surgery.
red I accidentally stabbed myself with a combat knife, not my brightest moment, managed to patch myself up though, never got infected or anything.
green, was camping with a friend, he jumped into the tent and I was laying down with my knees up, his tooth went into my knee. I was lucky, my dead tooth was a baby tooth, but my friend still has a discolored tooth from when this happened, I don't know if he thinks fondly of it or loathes me a bit for it happening to him since he brings it up sometimes.
I think that's it. I have a scar between my left pinkie and ring finger, don't really know how I got that though.
