Yee. I plan on getting some new pickups as well; EMG 81 and 85. I'll have to carve up my guitar a bit and buy a new pickguard because my pickups are SSS passive whereas the EMG's are HH active, but hey, making it my own is all the fun anyway, right?

eh, i had a classic mustang for a year or so...in general i just dont like American made cars : they are unreliable and costly in my experience. They are often heavy and handle not really well, they are fast just because they have giant engines.

Never cared for the escort styling, capri are decent.
I have mixed feelings about the 510 but overall I do like them.
I'd personally go for a first gen toyota celica based on your preferences.
Drive it stock for a year or two, then swapp in a s3ge with 6 speed. cheap and rather easy too.
