mah nigga. First booster I bought was from Scourge when I was like 13 years old. Had a Stifle in it. The whole Onslaught block was so fucking cool.
Especially when the mana started getting weird, wizards started becoming morph creatures and turning into ectoplasm, clandestine wizards cloning slivers to join in the war between Akroma and Phage without knowledge of slivers powers. Mechanically, the tribal set was rad. Lots of very powerful and unique cards, from Scornful Egotist which doesn't make any sense at first glance to Karona, False God.

Friday midnight I was too drunk and dropped after the first round because I was "too loud" and "disturbing the other patrons."
Sunday I went 0-4 because I'm an idiot and completely misread my pool. But me and my friend Tim played the 2hg game later, and we came second. Pulled nothing of relevance except for a handful of fastlands and the mythic vehicle.
Was still super fun though, except for when I lost every game. I'm generally OK at sealed, I kinda expect to go 3-1 often, but I just sacked out on Sunday. It happens I guess.

I use these in my three color decks with high mana cost cards. Allows you to play what ever you want without waiting for the right mana.
We also got a lot of staples from Mirroden Block

Theros was a shit set, my man. Nice flavor, but very poor average card utility. The limited format was awful, with lots of voltron magic, and barely any usable removal. I'm also struggling to think of more than half a dozen cards from the whole block that impacted eternal formats beyond Eidolon of the Great Revel, Thoughtseize, which was a reprint, and Mana Confluence, which nobody plays anyway.

Lorwyn was fantastic fun to draft.

Oath of the Gatewatch was the most insane set printed in a long time. Fucking Thoughtknot and Kalitas.
Kalitas is easily the most broken creature printed in the last few years, and that's an accomplishment when Avacyn and Siege Rhino were printed around the same time.
