Well if Atheists as you say don't actually just "Not believe in God", then they shouldn't call themselves Atheists, because to hold the position of an Atheist is to say that the statement "God does not exist" is true. It's the opposite of Theism.
They should use a more neutral term like Agnostic.
Just look at the Encyclopedia of Philosophy and it will clearly explain Atheism to you: "‘Atheism’ means the negation of theism, the denial of the existence of God."

Do you somehow feel yourself forced to reply to me? you can very easily decide not to, and so can I, why do you feel the need to over complicate things that are clear as day?
Even Atheists say that we have free will, although they can't ground it's existence in reality, but they certainly feel it as well as they feel that objective morality is real.. I see no reason to deny it.

Unless you live in Scandinavian or Japan atheism is not popular so that point is moot. US is still 80% Christian, Canada 60% all of south and central America is over 80% most of south and western Europe is about 50%. The middle east and Africa are almost 100% religious.
