I have titanium rods and nerve damage in my right arm from getting hit by a car a few years ago. I was crossing the street and a heavy bolted on sideview mirror snapped my humerus. The mirror went tumbling in the street, and I was in a hospital bed for a week and a wheelchair for two weeks. My nerves never healed so my right arm is just asleep all the time was pretty weak.

I have a neuromuscular disease. it causes seizures, memory loss, damage to fine motor skills, and muscles locking so tight that it can pull my joints out of place. ive been in the ER about 14 times so far this year. I take around 23 pills a day, 7 prescriptions of which are heavy duty painkillers (norco, oxy morphine patches, those nifty lolypops they give to cancer patients)
I got it by getting poisoned by the chemicals i used to mantain the body of fighter jets in the navy, now my immune system hates my nervous system.

Both of my legs below the femur have been outside of my body.
I'm 34 now, but when I was 17 I got stupid drunk and did a mistyflip of a 10' fence and completely ripped my patella in half and shattered my shin bones all to hell.
I couldn't do anything sporting throughout all of middle and highschool so I became a total nerd.
Now I have a great job in IT, lift weights all the time, and have gnarly knee scars.
Primary issues:
I know I'll have knee arthritis 10 years before anyone.
I can't fucking run or even think about it, really wanted to join the military when I was younger but nofucking way.
My legs stopped growing when I was 16. My body proportions are all fucked up, which isn't immediately obvious to anyone I know, but I can see it.
I'm 5'11, which means I likely would've been 6'4 or somewhere around there had I not injured my legs.
My dad and brothers all tower over me when we take photos.
Other than that, just be greatful you cucks aren't born in Somalia and getting bombs for breakfast every day.

I was on my way home one day with a friend of mine and was mugged by two guys who took some cash and my phone. Vengeance would be mine, or so I thought. I found the two guys who mugged me one day while walking home from school. They were attempting to break into a car and I quickly called them out and a fight ensued. I tried to stop them, but one of them pulled a knifed and stuck me in the stomach. As they ran, I stumbled my way out into the street and was hit by some guy in a Mercedes or something that drove off. I was found by paramedics and had to have metal plates put all over my body. It was a pretty crazy event in my life. Once I told my friends the whole story they just replied, 'kickass'.

Got to A&E, got some xrays while I couldn't feel a thing because no way my body is gonna let me feel whats going on there (thanks bro I owe you one), I hear 'holy shit' from the other side of the room and an hour later I was prepped for surgery, they had to get a specialist from the states to guide the surgery over skype.
I got a gnarly scar across my shoulder and I cant really feel that shoulder anymore. My left side has always been a bit weaker ever since.

I think that's absurd honestly.. life is about a mental experience - your perception. The problem with that is that in reality it's pretty much never that simple.
People in terrible pain, physical, psychological or both due to medical condition asking for it to end, asking to die because of the suffering would rather live if we could alleviate the pain. And most of the time, it is actually possible to do so.
I've seen several "terminal" cancer patient with bone metastasis asking to die quickly because the pain was too much, but after proper treatment by a palliative care specialist, they were relieved and would rather live the short time they had left.
My point is, legalizing actual euthanasia will cause people to get killed when they could have been properly taken care of. I realize that for some people no acceptable relief is possible, and if taken in a vacuum, I would want euthanasia to be a last resort option for them, but I fear that the concequences of legalizing it would be really bad for the majority of cases.
