I'm in NY. Egg on burger went out of fashion like 10 years ago. You guys on the West Coast are always behind in everything. No doubt the Eurofags are right that eggtop crap was old and we never did it right. When you think about it, it is dumb. The egg has very little flavor compared to the burger and if you got your fat ratio right on the beef, the yolk would only be in the way and dilute the umptiousness of the actual burger.

My first job was at burgerking and i am not ashamed of that. About 5 years back, they had a promotion dealing with chipotle spices and pepperjack cheese. I was the store manager at the time and I got fee food often, and i would make it fresh, myself. I'd toast the artisan buns, put mayo and a bit of horseradish sauce on the bottom, chipotle on top. Then id put tomato, letuce, pepperjack, chipotle onions, tons of fresh bacon, and 2 fresh whopper patties on that fucker. It was the best burger ive had. The taste was sweet, smokey, and spicy with the greasiness of the bacon and whopper complementing the creamy sauces. I love red robin, but it can't compare to a free burger that tasted like that.
