Agreed in general, but there are two schools of thought on this- a) start small and learn what you like, or b) go all out and shoot for cosmic revelation now. Remember in the 60s, the standard acid tab was 300-600 ug. The whole ontology of psychedelic drugs was different- they were supposed to cause extreme, intense, even uncomfortable experiences. Nowadays, with a standard tab being about 80-120 ug, the idea is that it should be more fun and interesting than life changing (with the option of taking more if you want to go the old route).

They do. They love meadows near forests, especially if they're used for cows. Liberty Caps don't grow directly on cow dung, but they like growing where there has been cow dung a year ago. Best time to find them is after two or three days of rain and then one or two days of mild sun from late august to early december (if the winter is mild even late january, but they generally stop growing after the first few times of frost). Just go out and pick them. If you fear eating off the ground (tape worm and other supposed dangers), just wash them before you dry (or eat) them or if you want to be REALLY secure, heat them to 60°C (140°F) for not more than ten, not less than 5 minutes. They'll get less potent, but any kind of parasite that could be in there (virtually never happens) will then be dead.
Google online if they grow in your country. I'm from Germany and they're very easy to find, even this early in the season.

1) get used to not feeling "normal" and stop using drugs to compensate for your character defecits
