I take this in my fucking workplace hospital
So I worked in Best Buy Geek Squad like 10 years ago, pretty good job, but mostly boring. Mostly uninteresting suburbanites with typical, fixable problems. However, we were on the edge of the suburbs so occasionally we would have some real white trash kind of people come in with computer issues.
So one day this trailer trash comes in and his PC won't boot. Nice enough guy but his PC is fucking dirty, caked in dust. I verified I couldn't turn it on and took it to the back.
Open er up and the fans are fucking disgusting. This guy must have smoked several packs a day; the tar got clumped up with the dust in the fans and created a fuzzy, tar substance that literally seized up the fan. As I'm diagnosing it I'm talking with my boss and I hear something move in it. We both look closer and there were fucking cockroaches living in the case. One of them had crawled into the PSU and got fried, killing it.
We weren't legally allowed to continue working on it and had to seal it in a trashbag and give it back. Dude was pissed
