I wouldn't have that opportunity if I hadn't worked hard. Took freelancing jobs on the side. Found a niche that was perfect for me, but most people couldn't hack. Some of the jobs I took didn't yield opportunities, so I found new ones. Doesn't matter, the cream always rises to the top.
Since then I've read a lot about sociology, business, etc. and basically the reality is that successful people are mostly just moderately capable individuals who are really resilient and persistent, and they know how to get along with everyone around them. That's pretty much the entire equation. Once you figure that out, life gets pretty easy and you can start focusing your mental and emotional energy into things you really care about, and just show up and do an interesting and challenging job and then go home and enjoy life again.

Use that to find the head of dev at every one of those companies, and reverse google search their names to find their email addresses (and variations of FirstLast, fLast, First_Last @company.com) and send out emails to each of the individually addressed to them asking if they would take on a Jr. Developer.
I bet after 26 emails you'll have 3 offers. It'll take maybe 40-60 hours of hard work, max. Just make sure your Linkedin account is up to date, you have a presentable photo (I don't care if your ugly or full of fat ulcers or if you're America's next top model, just get a good hair cut and wear a collared shirt). And use proper english. If you aren't completely certain, find someone good at english and buy them lunch.
