Anyone else planning on not voting at all this election?

I can't stand Hillary or Trump, no real change will come no matter who wins anyway.
>>
there won't be any change if Clinton wins

The president nominates the Supreme Court Justices. The next president will appoint at least 2 justices.

Hillary has promised to attack the Bill of Rights. Specifically the Second Amendment. She plans to accomplish this by nominating justices that will overturn the Heller decision. Heller upheld that Americans have a right to own firearms for self defense.

One thing not often mentioned is that many Americans believe that the repeal of the Second Amendment is THE SIGNAL THAT THE REPUBLIC HAS FALLEN AND THAT IT IS TIME FOR WAR TO RESTORE THE REPUBLIC.

Hillary Clinton presidency equals civil war.

I know that sounds edgy but it is something you should look into.

Your vote means more than you know, don't waste it.

Well not voting isn't really a solution.

Why don't you think about the worst possible scenario for both candidates.

Trump wins: Leans on congress to make life easier for his business partners, potentially causes mutual disrespect between the U.S. and Muslim countries and Mexico, which wouldn't affect anything, disrespectful and hurtful social justice warriors and feminists told to shut up and have some respect, and starts three new reality television shows.

Hillary wins: Your freedom of speech evaporates, anything that's not a bolt action rifle is banned, Fourth and Fifth amendment rights rescinded on the grounds of collecting guns, NSA Utah Data Center finally given full government support and begins cataloguing every conversation that's taken place in the last 8 years, socialist healthcare expanded (more taxation and tax penalties are forced), liberals and social justice warriors are given more credence in order to prosthelytize without shame, possible World War III caused by dementia, Brain Slugs from Universe 2 now have a foothold in high government and begin implantation of lesser castes.

>>
>>703584769
War with who? America's biggest threat is Russia and Trump is trying to decrease tensions with Putin. Hilary is insulting him non-stop and accusing him of things with no evidence like hacking the DNC and rigging the election. Who again is more likely to start WW3?

The experienced politicians are the ones that got us to where you are today.

There have been opportunities to put the terrorists down for good, but the experienced politicians didn't do it.

There hasn't been a draft since the early 70's. I would not base important decisions on the extremely remote possibility of being drafted.

And last thing a criticism. Why do you think you should not fight for freedom if needed? America is a free country due to the sacrifices of others before you.
>>
>>703586368
>i don't think I can take my chances with someone without political experience
That's not a decision you are allowed to take. George Soros and friends have made it for you.

Spend your energies in your own garden. The more organized people get at the grass-roots level, the more political power they can send farther upstream. As they liked to say in the 1960s, "if the people lead, the leaders will follow."

Trump wins: We as a country deal with George W. Bush level gaffes on the international stage. Wall is not built. Obamacare is altered slightly and rebranded. Nothing really changes but the comedians get an easy ride for four years.

Clinton wins: Obamacare is not changed. Clinton pushes for bills that secretly insert favors to wall street; we don't notice the repercussions for years.

War I think is equally likely with both candidates.

The third party candidates are polling so low it is unlikely that any one of them could get a single electoral vote.

They could however effect a close race in a battleground state.

In previous elections convincing disaffected voters to vote third party has been an important campaign strategy.

I think it's naive to think though that because one group didn't succeed, that somehow another group will. It's entirely as probably that the second group will fail worse than the first.

To be honest, no one really has in a long time and every few decades it's like we need to be reminded of just how fucked up war is.

The last third party candidate to get a sizable vote was Ross Perot. He got about 30% of the vote and not a single electoral vote. He did however insure Bill Clintons victory.

In my opinion Perot would have been a great president. He did foretell the economic crisis about to befall America.

Did it change anything about the stature of third parties in national politics? No.

It's naive to think that government wants to get rid of terrorism. Government invented terrorism.

Before terrorists there were Communists. Before that, there were Socialists and Wobblies. Before that, anarchists. Each generation of Big Brother needs his Emmanuel Goldstein.

Anyone who believes that terrorists are the enemy has been distracted by a very manipulative government.

This picture makes me want to vote for Trump. Just knowing that the person who made that image would lose their shit would give me more satisfaction than having an actual competent president (not that I think Hillary is a good choice or even competent). Gary Johnson is the only good choice but there is no possible outcome where he wins.

The only reason you give is that we shouldn't be faggots. Only to fiat currency. In Andrew Jackson's day, currency was silver and gold, paper was promissory notes, and the banks took a variable commission when converting notes into specie.

In any event, the problem has been that the corruptibility you are concerned about is better managed within the sovereign country than among international capitalists. When the central bank belongs to the people, debasement of the currency is tantamount to treason.

Seriously. The Civil War was so effective because of the technology and resource distributions of early America. Since then, the government has developed such that Americans as a people would have zero actual chance of a successful rebellion.

The southern states wanted to secede, right? Since geographically there was a way for them to do that, it made more sense.

Now, it's just fucking randos thinking they can handle the government.

These are typically the same fuckers that believe "America is the greatest country on earth." Yeah? You believe that? Then why the fuck do you think you can rebel just because the country has gotten away from what you see to be its core values.

Having "lost its way", as they see it, does not mean that our government lacks the resources and man power to easily put down any serious rebellion.

It's not practical. Do people really think that they'd just storm the whitehouse and rub their dicks on the president's desk until the refugees can't come in our country no more?

Jesus Christ. There is no goddamn way we can make a difference in terms of trying to match them in violence. "I need my guns so I can rebel properly." Yeah, use your fucking semi-auto piece of shit. The drone strikes won't kill you and your whole fucking family.

>>
>>703605444
I think that people in the military would realize before anyone else how stupid it would be to rebel.

Even if the individuals in the military went against the rest of the military, they would lack the resources to rebel.

People in the military would understand how futile it would all be. Sure, some would stick with the rebellion, but how would that even get organized?

Going to make posts on /pol/ about it? The information age means we can easily send out info to people, but it also means that every fucking thing we say can get tracked and traced. You think we have the ability to organize in such a manner to topple the organization of the military?

There are so many reasons why this wouldn't work.

My internet sucks, so I can't even check the shit you're talking about with the Kent State. Your assumption is that every military person is just an automatic fuck face that want to kill Americans. They just wanted to serve, that's the only difference. Look at the Bundy Standoff. They stood up to the government and the government backed down. You can make them back down.

The only option I see is to literally force them out of office and put good people in there. Then make a law that prevents big money from ever getting back in. I do agree that if it does ever happen, it won't for a long long time.

Actually it's YOUR assumption that I think "every military person is just an automatic fuck face that want to kill Americans."

I know for a fact that military trains you to shoot unarmed (including children) civilians. It's all too common with the current situation in the middle east. pic related

>I can't even check the shit you're talking about with the Kent State.
A bunch of US National Guardsman killed unarmed civilians protesting the Vietnam war.

>Bundy Standoff
>the government backed down
No they didn't. All involved have been detained and have all been charged with the following federal felonies:
Conspiracy to commit an offense against the United States – maximum penalty 5 years' imprisonment, $250,000 fine
Conspiracy to impede and injure a federal law enforcement officer – 6 years, $250,000 fine
Assault on a federal law enforcement officer – 20 years, $250,000 fine
Threatening a federal law enforcement officer – 10 years, $250,000 fine
Use and carry of a firearm in relation to a crime of violence – 5 years minimum, life sentence maximum, and consecutive
Obstruction of the due administration of justice - 10 years, $250,000 fine
Interference with interstate commerce by extortion - 20 years, $250,000 fine
Interstate travel in aid of extortion – 20 years, $250,000 fine

>even without the internet, the knowledge is still there.
With little means of disseminating that knowledge.

>bat shit crazy heavy duty AA guns and stuff some people have.
You'd need far more than the few of these that exist in citizen hands. Also, again you're assuming that the person with said hardware would be sympathetic to your cause. Again limited means of production of ammunition renders said weapons useless rather quickly.

Well, either way, we'll find out eventually and people will hopefully not have to have discussions like this anymore.

Until then, take care. I have shit to do.

You have no actual reason to dislike trump, unless you are a cuck, or get too much media

You can't seriously believe that a person has "no actual reason to dislike" anything. Christ, that's stupid.

You realize that humans are complex, right? We aren't all products of the same experiences. We all have enough variations in our lives to offer different perspectives.

If i could vote I'd vote for Trump then sit back and watch the fireworks from downunder.

Reasons to not like Trump.
- He's a egomaniac.
- A bigot.
- He flip-flops as much as Hillary.
- As big of a (if not bigger) crook than Hillary.
- He's against freedom of speech.
- He's a hypocrite.
- Zero political experience.

You have no actual reason to LIKE Trump, unless you're a cuck, or get too much media.
