I personally look at these threads to prepare my mind in the event of an emergency. So many people go into negative panic and freeze when they see something shocking. If I end up seeing someone hit by a car or stabbed or something I want to react and kind of know what tragedy looks like before it happens to me. My instinct is that this stuff is gross and I want to look away, but by forcing myself to watch some of this I might be able to save a life by not freezing up one day.
