How does one learn to hack?

Not talking about hacking twitter, kikebook or jewgle, that stuff's impossible. I'm more talking about cracking games, software etc. Where can I learn about that? I'm also interested in learn the website security protocols and stuff, but I don't know which books are good and which aren't. I have already fully learned c++ and why does it work that way. I'm planning on learning assembler soon

>inb4 del sys32
I am serious

I know that /b/ right now is riddled with newfags who can't even inspect element, but if some sensible anon could recommend some good material to me that would be appreciated.
Would try /g/, but I would be banned and /wsr/ is barely alive

>fully learned c++

I've been writing c++ code professionally for years, and I haven't fully learned c++. Anyone familiar with the language will say the same.
>>
>>702506891
if you cant find guides by yourself, youre too dumb anyways
also
>I know that /b/ right now is riddled with newfags who can't even inspect element
you sound like a huge faggot
>>
Some guy I knew has a friend that know a guy that goes to the Deep web. He mentioned there are certain sites (he got the site from a big pastebin) that have tutorials and books on hacking and whatever you mentioned. I don't know though, never been there.
>>
>>702507139
By saying that I meant I fully understand the keywords, arrays, templates, how they work etc. Not how to use them most optimaly
>>
>>702507139
It takes two weeks to learn a language. The reset is design patterns and ins and outs of packages/libraries
>>
>>702507399
Because that's how skidrow does it. They just google "how to crack games"

Learn how computers work at the lowest level. I mean transistors, logic gates, all of it.
Read "C.O.D.E."

Learn assembly, nothing fancy, just understand it. ARM, X86, 8088, whatever.

Learn about internet protocols, tcp/ip, packet sniffing, etc.

Play around, a lot. Then a lot more. Then a lot lot more. Prepare to have no life.

Already have a breif idea about it, however how is it exactly ganna help? Ganna look into it anyway

>Learn assembly, nothing fancy, just understand it. ARM, X86, 8088, whatever.
On that

>Learn about internet protocols, tcp/ip, packet sniffing, etc.
Could you recomend any good books on that?

This is like asking how to play guitar.

No, faggot. Just start.
>>
>>702506891
Buy a bunch of books on the subject of security and penetration testing and start learning coding in a bunch of different languages. Hacking without knowing coding languages is like trying to solve a Chinese word problem without knowing the language, it just won't work. While you are doing that familiarize yourself with Linux and download a distro called backtrack. It has many many script kiddy tools pre-installed which saves you a lot of time finding them. Now that I've said that let me school you on three important terms

Script kiddy: didn't write or create the hack, simply used code someone else already wrote and distributed for use. This is literally often cut and paste command line shit.

Hacker: this is someone who finds new and novel ways of defeating security and gaining access to otherwise protected areas of a system often utilizing vulnerable code.

Cracker: this is when you are gaining access to secure areas of a system by stealing passwords or otherwise determine a password by packet sniffing, man in the middle attacks or the good old brute force attack. You don't exploit code you are simply "cracking" the password needed to gain access to the system
>>
>>702508679
You just sound like a CS hacker anyway.
Go fuck yourself.
>>
Try Cybrary. Google it
>>
>>702506891
buy the book "Computer Systems: A programmer's perspective" by Randal Bryant and David O'Hallaron

it's denser than fuck, but its one ofthe books i was taught out of when i was in college (CS fag here) Although it's not a "how to hack" book and it's denser than fuck, it will teach you the fundamentals of how computing systems work, which will in turn give you enough to start writing your own software exploits. Seriously though, if you can put yourself through this book, it'll help you learn a shit ton
>>
>>702508970
>implying i'm a hacker at all

>>702508974
will try that, thanks anon

>>702508913
somehow knew hacking with linux meme might hold water. I'll try learning how linux works after assembly
>>
>>702508679
you caim you fully understood c++
but you seem to completely lack any knowledge of how a system calls/stores information
go study, get a degree
>>
>>702509249
I will look into it. Thanks
>>
>>702506891
if you know c++ then there's no reason for you to ask this stupid question boy
>>
>>702509430
There is plenty of script kiddy stuff for Windows but Linux is better for many reasons.
>>
>>702509541
Don't know anything apart from the stack and the heap. Any good books to recommend on that topic?
>>
>>702506891

considering your pathetic hatred of jews, you'll never amount to anything.

you'll never learn even 1/10 of what you need. the suggestions of c++ here are a joke. you never touch that bullshit to get a computer science degree.

you'll never learn bitmasking or the 10,000 things you'll need to actually "hack" anything. you're 30 years late. back then, people would steal manuals from dumpsters. now, they use google, but still, you'd need to know how to use it. you'll never get anywhere. you will never be anything. you'll never... anything.
>>
Beej.com is a good place to start with c tcp/ip networking protocols.
After that look through other networking protocols.
Backtrack with a manual will introduce you to all the tools you need for penetrating security systems and a way to examine how exploits are written and delivered.
Assembly will teach you how to read decompiled programs and reverse engineer applications.
>>
>>702506891
i've been fucking around with the wargames on overthewire.
hackthissite is also good
>>
>>702509979
More than likely true. True hacking is one of those abilities some people are just born good at. Everyone else can learn as best we can but we'll never actually be that good. The average person will never get past being a script kiddie
>>
>>702509979
Thanks for the encouragement anon and for the matter of fact, I do understand bitmasks
>>
Masters in Cyber Security Here:

Hacking simply requires you to study the system you are looking to abuse and search for weaknesses. There really isnt all that much to it. No two systems are identical each will come with their own flaws (eg. the person behind the machine, the software, the hardware). You have to learn to exploit what ever you can. Weak passwords? Weak encryption? No encryption? Outdated protocols? Poorly implmented protocols?

A good book you can read if u want to just do simple tricks is Black Hat Python
>>
Also- whats your os?
Put Kali on a flash drive, or an old machine, and play around with the toys.
>>
>>702509979

i'm serious about c++ hate. c++ is c with some crap. you don't use that in college. you start with some gay ass java or c# for it being simple and easy, with a big IDE to help you, and then you learn assembly and then it's all c.

even as a junior, i barely comprehend "hacking". learning how to make a compiler and all the things that go into optimizing your own homemade operating system... then i might understand how to "hack". you have 10,000 hours of hard work ahead of you to become a "hacker". you have no fucking clue.

if you'd spent 20 minutes in college, you'd learn in the first week of history 101 that all white people come from iraq and there's a good chance that every white person is a high percentage of "jew".

you suck and don't deserve any help. little faggots with their c++ or javascript can fuck off. you people don't know a fucking thing. ever spent 20 hours to write an app that performs recursion in assembly, WHILE saving all registers as you go down in levels and restore them?

You seem to have a problem of me disliking jews. I already know that learning cs will take a long work, but I'm willing to study it.
Now, why would you insult people who have to will to learn a fairly hard programming language (c++)? Most people will just learn python/java and call it a day. And no, I have yet to bear the horrors of assembler.
>>
>>702510499
I want you to know that your degree will not help you one bit in the real world. You could drop any computer literate high school graduate in virtually any low to mid level IT position and within a month they would know how to do there job. IT degrees are a fucking joke.
>>
>>702506891
Network engineering. Then you learn to code and implant malware or whatever, and exploit engineering. A lot of things you either have to pull with a script, or intercept over transfer.

>>702511189
Oh also start with the OSI 7 Layer Model. That is basically each part of the technological system that you can exploit.

>>
>>702506891
ignore all other posts.

to crack games, apps etc you use a debugger and look at the software as it launches to see what calls it makes and eventually you find the 'is this a registered copy?' flag and you enable it.

apply the same method for online checks/verifications, cdkey check etc, only thing else is stripping the program from the extra software protection layer created by a third party ie safedisk, starforce etc

OP, been actually researching this stuff for a long time. Some tips:

1)Learn C++ and asm.

2) do some research on the Win32 funcs (ReadProcessMemory, WriteProcessMemory, Tl32 header)

3) Get a debugger (Ollydbg, IDA, some disasm) and start learning
>i can tell you this is the part where I, and many others, have given up. Make sure you stick through this learning process. It's probably harder moreso if you're looking to make hacks for games (need a lot more knowledge on reversing functions, vtables, etc.)
>>
>>702512092
C++ is not endless anon. It's just hard to use. See >>702507617

>>
>>702511276 (me) >>702511688 (me)

erf, guys C++ is NOT a requirement.

You can use C, ASM or whatever you want as long as you're able to port/translate the assembly routines to whatever programming language you're using if/when you need it ie keygens or in some cases patchers.

As for cracked files just include the cracked file, no l33t programming skillz required.

OP just give up

All research material on hacking is basically forums posting gibberish and hacking the users, or going youtube with the exact same shit.

The only way to get a book or site on it is if you have connections with someone who's been hacking before windows 7/Vista who might have a published work on it

Just buy script clients and have your fun DOSing random shits that have not a clue what is in a computer.
These all cost money subscriptions though so prepare for banks to start hitting you with police threats since they're all private and basically are there for the purpose of fucking people in the ass. Don't worry OP none of this true, banks wouldn't snitch on a faggot like you.

Where and how do you do that?

once you get a somewhat hang of it turn to crackmes.de from there you should advance pretty fast.

You dont hack code, you crack it. If you want to hack something then take an axe into the woods.
>>
>>702513808
I'm not sure how much of that I can answer before running into another /b/an

Most of this goes down on irc networks, once a scene group cracks a big title they may see a chance to make profit from it, this is done by selling it to top-sites which is a private high-bandwidth download site/service that offers music, movie, games apps etc all you want (almost) for people who pay a monthly fee, so basically the group contacts different site owners and make a deal with them, whomever brings the best offer to the table gets the release.
>>
how do I into java?
>>
>>702515038
Sorry, I meant more of a legit solution.
Like if someone wants mods for a game.
For example, if someone wanted the ability to play World of Warcraft with an XBox 360 controller, I don't see a business model to create something like that and sell it to a customer.
I have no clue where to even begin to find a customer, much less sell them a product like that.

>>702515425
depends on how that mod is implemented, anything hackishly, injections etc and blizzard may end up shutting you down, if youre worried about that its usually easier opening the store/buisness in a country where they dont have jurstiction or cant be arsed to go after you, ie china, russia etc
>>
>>702509249

Why would you buy it when the pdf is right there : http://instructor.sdu.edu.kz/~konst/sysprog2015fall/readings/linux%20system%20programming/Prentice.Hall.Computer.Systems.A.Programmers.Perspective.2nd.2011.pdf
>>
>>702515425
as for selling it, you make a site and work on your reputation, you can sell the service and application through a installer that carries the registration information from the buyer, this way if it leaks you can turn off that buyers continued support for the application once you make new versions, most people setup a license server, people download for instance a 30 day trial, and before it ends or after it ends they buy the software through whatever, lets say paypal which in turns sends them a key unique to them, if that key ends up leaking you simply block it during the registration process.

but this also requires your mod to be built into a software that can protect it.
