It's 9. We start in the () then we work from the beginning. So (1+2)=3. So the equation looks like this 6 / 2*3=y. Next we divide 6 by 2 giving us 3. So now the equation is this 3 * 3 = 9. Ta da basic math. To remember how to do this remember PEMDAS.
