I know a guy with a 96 F150 on 31s and 17s I think, dont quote me. It's loud as fuck though. He has it bored out to over 440 by his measurements, with long tube headers and dual straight pipes. Completely ridiculous, hes getting a set of 44s soon though.

That's cool but at the complication and cost of boring the motor to that, I would rather just drop in a 460
My ranger isn't much and it's still just on a leveling kit but I don't want huge tyres for it.
Maybe if I get a more dedicated off road vehicle I'll do some bigger ones
I also hope he plans to get some bigger axles than the Ford 8.8 inch (9 inch is he has the XLT) and Dana 44 TTB front end

He honestly doesn't want or expect the motor to last at all, it was a project for him to burn time on. He has a Detroit diesel he plans on dropping in (after fabricating another foot onto the front end of his truck) once he blows this engine. Somehow it makes in the neighborhood of 550 horsepower on the dyno.

He just recently blew his transmission AND rear end the fuck out and rebuilt both with parts from American Muscle, hasn't done anything to the front end IIRC tho, probably doesn't plan to but the moment he puts it in 4LO he's gonna blow both diffs I swear lol, you can't multiply torque that much and expect shit not to break

He drives it everywhere. He has a 3500 Cummins dually but he put 9 gravity wagons full of corn behind the Ford for shits a giggles down a straight road. We did the math and it was 470,000 pounds. Granted, it wasn't all on the truck, only a few thousand from the first wagon, but it was enough to lift the front end off the ground and it wouldn't go anywhere if he wasn't in 4LO. Had I not seen it I wouldn't have believed it, but it moved about 2 miles until a cop pulled him over and made him bring a tractor and haul them 2 at a time.

It's some old-ish farm truck, 4x4 was the only real option it got outside of towing options. He's kept it mostly stock except for lopping off the muffler and putting a light tune on it. Once he nukes the Ford hes probably gonna start driving that more often until he gets the Ford fixed.
This is my last pic of the night. I'm gonna go back to lurking and bulking up my fur folder.
