The seizures are horrendous, you're semi aware of what is happening, and your body tries to fight against it and keep you awake, but if the insulin is too much, then your body is fighting a losing battle. Then comes the slipping into unconciousness. I believe after that is organ shutdown, as your body tries to burn ANYTHING for fuel to keep going. cue immense agony.
