It would be cool if 4chan were still "underground" and didn't really get all the media attention it has in the last three or so years and all the newfriends just went to another chan that was more normie and facebook like (8) or something. But that's just wishful thinking. I could probably write a masters thesis on how I feel about the evolution of this website as the user base has grown, changed, and begun to use this as a platform for things to do in life (ie /pol/ and the "alt-right" movement)
