Coincidentally it's why talking to plants helps them grow. Not as good as fertilizer of course, but nonetheless it helps.

ok, so these posts are me. As there is so much shit talk in this thread; i thought i'd throw one last thing in before the thread is pruned.
I've been in the food industry for over 20 years, from abattoirs, farms, ready meals, bakery, dairy, sushi, pizza, sandwiches, cakes, soups and sauces.
I have NEVER, ever looked at any factory, and plant, any process or any series of raw materials and thought it was disgusting.
You've really no idea how much time, effort, and resource goes into product development, technical conformity, recipe consistency, customer requirements, hazard analysis, critical controls, safety training, hygiene standards etc.
I would never ever turn down a ready meal, or any prepared food... as it is (for the most part) very healthy, very safe, and of very high quality ingredients. Particularly if you buy from well known supermarkets, or big brands... as money is no object... and they will never accept sub standard product from their suppliers (guys like us).
