While I understand kind of where you're coming from I guess my point of view is... What are you looking to torrent? Extratorrent and rarbg have pretty much all the usual stuff. If you need something specific look it up on torrentzeu.to (torrentz.eu clone) -- admittedly I don't torrent as much as I used to, primarily because most games are online nowadays. But for movies,and whatever programs I need, Windows copies etc, still perfectly fine.
Movie box for iPhone has also reduced my torrenting by a lot.

Now TPB has its own legal troubles too, so besides those two, the only other decent public tracker that I know is RARBG. Seedbox if you want to be a full fledge torrenter, or torrent a lot. You don't need anything besides an FTP client and try to use FTPS or SFTP (an encrypted connection to the seedbox to download). And for the seedboxes, I would stay away from public trackers, or hope that your seedbox provider allows you to download from public torrents. I use seedboxes cc but there's Feral Hosting as another provider.
Or VPN for casual shit. (PIA, NordVPN, etc)
For the VPN, make sure your VPN provider allows p2p and be sure you use OpenVPN as your protocol. Then change your DNS servers to Google Public DNS.
Ususally VPN providers throw in an application that does it all for you, be sure to always run it as admin, and if it has stuff like a kill switch enable it, which will shut down your connection in case of a disconnect, so you wont leak your original ip.
Go to IPleak net and see if it is all good once you connect. Your IP and DNS should be something different than your normal IP.
