18, m. I just got back from my doctors office. I have a malignant brain tumour, with a shitty survival rate even with chemo. I'm thinking about staying off treatment and dying naturally. It's better than gollumizing I'm my last few months.

I think the human body is an amazing thing. It's not necessarily about how many. Cancer occurs when cell DNA is mutated enough to cause endless cell replication, so for each type of cell in the body there is a cancer for it. If you get sun burned all the time, those skin cells are much more likely to become cancer.
The problem is, at some point those cancer cells get lucky and survive long enough to develop mechanisms to avoid the immune system. At this point, there is no immune system strong enough to fight the cancer because it as already become too strong.

This is just an off-the-wall guess, but BRAF mutations (specifically V600E) are known driver mutations in skin cancer, and also in gliomas. If you had melanoma and it metastasized in your brain, there's a decent chance you could have the same mutation in your brain tumor.
The good news is that there are several drugs that specifically target that mutation and work relatively well. Chemo is still chemo, and it doesn't work 100% of the time, but it really isn't necessarily game over for you either.
