I agree that Trump has been very lacking in telling us specifics about his plans, course of action, what exactly he'll do. But he will once the debates start with Hillary. Also, the fact his ideals agree with mine in immigration, make him worth voting for. Hillary fundamental disagrees with what I believe about immigration, as well as most republicans, so I'd rather risk a candidate not delivering than a candidate worsening the issue.
National debt went way up under Obama, so IDK about that claim. I think he should cut military spending as well. I believe he does not want to send men into Isis-ridden countries however, so there is little reason to have such an expensive military now.
He's not ideal, but I'd take him any day over Hillary. She'd be a huge step in the wrong direction.

Bill Clinton was the only pres in my lifetime to actually reduce debt by having a spending surplus and a balanced budget.
Obama and GW Bush have two of the worst records... mostly because of mandatory spending that was set in course before their presidencies.
However, GW fired it up to well over a trillion dollars a year because of his war agenda. Obama's is still bad, but he has had to reduce GW's that was inherited at 1.5 trillion... and is down to a projected $500B. so, by all accounts, quite a reduction in deficit spending.
The reality is, as much as I love republican ideals of small government, today's republicans are far worse for the economy than the dems.

Honestly I think the US does a lot of the world despite it's reputation, which could go to complete shit very quickly and easily if we got too close and chummy to Russia's problems.
