I don't think it's that easy - I'm already more into hygiene and fashion than most men. I'm a healthy weight, I'm clean shaven all the time, etc. I even have one of those meme undercut hairstyles, which I have specialised clay-based product to use on it every day. I don't wear t-shirts if I can help it, and have specifically coordinated outfits that match and follow a few general styles that I like and have built up.

See in my experience there has been some expectation from the girl almost always.
