Depends on how you do the cable management tho. If you design a shitty network with cables at their max length you will get some lag vs if you use shorter cables that are the right length to connect the two nodes.
Also if you have two processes at far ends of the system from eachother that talk back and forth a lot and they have to travel through an extrenious amout of nodes to reach their goal you will get some lag.
Tho it does have a point, the way the cables sit there don't effect the traffic flowing in the networK.

i got a job that afternoon and went back a week later with my first paycheck and bought a psp off the shelf. the owner recognized me and gave me $50 off for keeping my promise and coming back.
