Javascript is a much more powerful language than anybody wishes it was, as well with python scripts and VBScripts on sites. Using these languages to get involuntary information from site visitors is against many cyber protection laws all around the world, and sites that do not follow these laws are either shut down, seized, or permanently blocked. As you might imagine, people don't really follow laws on the deep web, because they're much smarter than you. Not all of the hidden sites, but a lot have special scripts on them that when you visit, your IP address and many other bits of information are logged and stored on a database. You may not know but IP addresses also give away a general location of your computer. That's why people use VPNs. Its like a mask so the IP that gets logged isn't your real one (usually). However some scripts are advanced enough that they can keep logging and actually dig through your VPN. It's scary but true. We stop this with IP swappers which update your masked IP address with a different one every (specified number) of seconds.
So by 'caught' you may think 'aw the government is watching these sites', however in reality the government rarely gives to shits about the deep web. There is very little they can do about it. The people who will catch you (unless you're hosting your own website) will be people who don't trust you, want to know where you live, want to know your friends and family, so you never have leverage over them.
To wrap up, for people like you who aren't tech savvy - get a Tor browser and don't go very deep. End of story you had your fun.

Well kinda. You need access to these nodes and one way could be to become an admin and have somebody grant you access. The more common answer to this problem is something you non-tech savvy people generalize into a giant spectrum known as hacking. You have to enter the site without Tor, and use your own scripts on the site to locate the nodes and give yourself access. When you do this, nobody on the site will be alerted, nobody will being saying 'I'm accessing the mainframe' and you have a stronger position in the world. However, IF somebody does find out, you better leave as fast as you can because people don't block nodes because they just like their things private. That site most likely has serious illegal content which would land the owners in prison for life many times over. If they see you've got leverage on them, don't be surprised if they hunt you

Tor accepts proxy chains, and Tor does come with it's own IP swapper if you aren't going too deep. If you are going too deep though, just make your own. I would never trust someone else to make one for me if I planned on going that deep. Bear in mind Tor is actually really good and for 60% of all the deep web (yes i pulled that number out of my ass) you'll be totally fine.
