I do not like cars and I cannot work on them, my dad is a mechanic so he loves volvo and successfully brainwashed me into thinking they are the best car ever. Now I am having all these problems with it his response is "wait for your sister's friend to work on it." Which I can't really do because he can't work on it at all. Also I don't really trust subaru. I think the best thing to do is to buy the componants needed first like new struts, your dad is a mechanic so he must have contacts for componants. Dont ever let a garage buy the componants for you, they just want your money. You just gotta do some research, also call different garages to know their tarif for the installations. Well that part was finished by my sister's friend. Right now the issues are the steering column, brakes, pipe underneath the car is rusted out and making a really loud noise, shattered back window (that was from someone stealing my shit though) and the leather seats are starting to crack (that I don't care about though).
