If the Earth was flat and the Sun hovered above it and moved in a great circle around the pole, you would see it move towards you during a rise that would start out slowly climbing, and it would appear to "rise' faster as it approached you, passed overhead, and moved off into the distance for the set.
That's not what we see. We see the Sun rising at a constant speed along its path in the sky. In fact as it rises, it's rate of climb (angular separation) from the horizon diminishes as it comes to Noon, when it basically moves parallel to the southern horizon (for northern observers), then begins its descent and its rate of descent increases. This is what we see.
Time is infinite, but there are a finite number of outcomes that can come with a roll of the dice, so eventually things will come full circle and repeat themselves. Yes time is flat circle.

In order for the Sun to make a complete circle around the pole once each day, it will have to change the rate of speed at which it does so in order to make up for the change in circumference traveled. So when it's far north, it will have to move more slowly. When in the south, it will have to move more rapidly. This is not what we observe. Actually, teh percession of the equinoxes is about 26,000 years, has nothing to do with the Earth's place in the galaxy, and the offset is 23½ degrees - yes, the same as the ecliptic as thee two are gravitationally related.

Why would you say that? You're not even trying to conceptualize this. The Little Dipper is very near the north pole. As long as you are above the latitude 90° minus the-southernmost-star -you-want-circumpolar, it will remain above the horizon. Move further south, and it will rise and set. Move south of the equator, and the Little Dipper will never be visible.

Stand under a light, look strait up at it, and spin around. Does the light go behind you? No. It stays in the same place. Just like the big dipper does.

Anything that grazes the horizon but does not set is called "circumpolar." If you are far enough north, the Little Dipper will be circumpolar. Go south and you're right, how can you see it through the Earth? You can't! You're too far south you've moved "down the ball" so to speak.
