I honestly listen to everything as long as it's made because the musicians like what they're doing. I can't stand most top 10 pop songs (except for Timberlake, Diplo and Beyonce) because they're purely made for earning money. There's no deeper meaning and the musicians don't even write the songs 99.9% of ths time.
My "favorite" bands include Arctic Monkeys, Tame Impala, Innerspace Orchestra (check them out..!), The Arcs, Black Keys, but I can listen to Adele and stuff like Beartooth with just as much joy

I saw Modest Mouse and Brand new touring this year. Honestly wish Modest mouse would have just known when to quit, I LIKE them, but I either love some of their songs, or I think it's obnoxious. It's almost like Isaac Brock sits down and thinks "Whats the fucking weirdest way I can say sing sentence??" Then follow it with an incoherent string of different notes on stage for 12 minutes, it was like everyone else on the stage was making it up as they went along.
EVERYONE left when they finished float on, it was pretty obvious everyone came to see Brand New.
