not to mention the "code" at the bottom is just her failing to properly type the command to navigate to the parent folder and then after successfully doing so, listing the files in a directory and then trying to navigate to a file that is clearly not on the list. This photo basically is showcasing her not knowing to navigate and open files and folders in linux

Sorry, just saw you were asking about the other pic, but since I typed it out I'll explain the motherboard one
The woman pictured is a model, hired to look good for a picture. Look closely - she has the solder off and is just putting it on a part of the chip with there to even solder (no connections to a chip or maybe not even a diode or resistor).

Now, has for the terminal screenshot, half of the commands aren't doing anything, and the other one was just programmed to bring up useless strings. She isn't even list out directories and searching in there to know where to copy from. It's like watching the retard who didn't study or even cram to compensate try to do something they didn't pay attention to in class.

No photo but 100% honest story, this happened years ago when 486's were the shit, customer bought and went home to install his new vesa local bus video card, comes back with it and his pc as he can't get it to work. I fucking kid you not the fucking spangle had hacksawed about 3 inches of the length of the card to fit it into his case. Right through the centre of the memory chips too. We were all speechless and the guy was pissed when we said his warranty was void. Boss told him to never come back.

Really, no matter what you're talking about, as long as it's completely powered down when it gets wet, and is completely dry (and uncontaminated with salts and minerals which is really what's conducting the electricity in water) when you power it up again, there should be no issue.

The problem is that often electronics are exposed to water when something is still running, or when they're powered up again they're not completely dry or they're still covered in the dissolved minerals in water even though they're completely dry.

So all in all it's a bad idea to expose any electronics to water. It's not quite a kiss of death for your electronics if you keep those things in mind, though. It's more something to allow you to salvage something that's gotten wet accidentally, rather than an excuse to wash your electronics in the fucking sink.

Proper ventilation in your machine should prevent most dust from settling in there, but yeah, after 4 years it's going to add up.

Look into knowing which fans are intakes and which are "exhaust" fans and putting filters over the intakes. Then every week or so take a moment to turn it off and blow some dust out of it. The intake fans are usually at the front, so keep that area as dust-free as you can too. Keeping it simple and regimented like that, doing it fairly often by most standards, makes it a bit less overwhelming when it gets to "dusting time". After one week there shouldn't be much build-up so it's a simple job to blow it out. The longer you wait between each time, the more you have to do at once and the more you dread it, so us lazy slobs end up procrastinating and then finding it's been several months since we last dusted the damn thing. Doing it every Sunday has allowed it to be a fairly quick and simple process each time and allows me to get it taken care of without procrastinating.

What sucks is that I had a laptop for a long time and it's a real pain in the ass to get into those and dust it. With my current rig, I don't even really bother screwing in the case panel so I can just take it off really quickly and easily. It's not really an issue as long as I'm not transporting it somewhere.

Every week? That's pretty frequent. You mean just pop the case, blow out the dust and put it back, or disassemble some parts too and blow that out too? Because with my ricer card that would still be a pain in the ass every week

Yeah just some basic maintenance, no tearing it apart.

Honestly, I haven't even done that. Then again, my tower is pretty big and spacious because I wanted to leave room for upgrading as well as ensuring that I can actually maneuver a bit in there. I've managed to get into nooks and crannies that way.

The thing is, if you care of the basic dust build-up on a frequent basis, the cards aren't really going to end up caked in dust in the first place. So you don't really have to tear it apart and clean everything individually. I mean, you could just to be safe, on like a monthly or bi-monthly basis, but it may not even be necessary if you're taking care of the dust before that point.

If you hit anything spinning at 5400-7200 rpm with a hard blunt instrument, its going to shatter.

If you did that with a tempered hammer on a metal disc, the disc would shatter like glass if you hit it hard enough.

240 AC is only tickling, unless you're grounded. Then it causes only really strong contraction of muscles. You get used to it after like 3 hits.

Completely other story is DC current. I was working on a vacuum tube excited oscilator powered with direct voltage doubler. Roughly 500v DC. Got hit to my right index finger. That shit burned me like a mfker, the burn was hemispherical, deep in skin tissue. Healed for more than a month. 0/10 would not recommend working with high voltage dc current after two beers.

Not him but you can easily get rid of tapeworms, ringworms, etc... with over the counter drugs. Some can be in cream, but most of them are gonna be a pill. You will literally shit out the worms. Its best to keep on taking the medicine for at least a month. And after a month or two, you take a pill or two per week because the eggs will hatch by then.

Ofc, some other parasites are harder to treat, but that is why doctors exist.
