As we abandon religion as our basis for explaining existence we inevitably adopt science as our method.
The further we delve into science the more likely a "God scenario" becomes.
Although science cannot create a belief in the virtue of worship it can eventually prove that a creation scenario occurred via the will of a sentient being.
It's not terribly complicated given our continuing development and understanding of physiology, physics, etc.
It's even more compelling to think of the idea that time isn't linear but spherical.
