In that there's no random encounters and not very many things to shoot? Sure, agreed. It could have rewarded exploration a little more. The top-tier writing and branching quests more than made up for it though.
Honestly I can see how someone who prefers the Bethesda formula of a huge open world to aimlessly wander in and stumble across things might dislike New Vegas, but it's objectively a pretty good RPG with a ton of depth. It's only real downside is it looks like absolute shit, especially for something released in 2011, but that can be mostly fixed with mods (see pic related).

Skyrim spent too long riding the hype train, but it was a pretty damn good engine. And let's be honest: you're not expecting a fantastic story out of Bethsoft at this juncture. When it comes to dragon age, I found every time I played the game I would get myself into a situation where I would die no matter what I did and that there was no way out. I couldn't bother playing the rest of the games because of it, despite how much I thought I might enjoy them.

Yeah, man, I feel you. They're definitely still worth going back and playing though. To be honest, Morrowind is kind of hard to look at nowadays but it's still a great game and whenever you accomplish something it's super rewarding. Oblivion still looks great in my opinion, and if you haven't spent six months of your life on it I definitely recommend doing so. Here's hoping they'll go back to their roots in the next installment but it's pretty unlikely.

I love the idea of fallout, but the more I've played the games and read the lore, the more I hate fallout. SO much of it makes no fucking sense, like a lack of plant life after hundreds of years.. I'll dismiss the early games, because their isometric, outdated trash now. FO3 and NV are garbage now because the writing, world, and gameplay sucks.

Yeah I played this game in hops of finding a harder moba. However I wasn't surprised to find out that the only reason the characters were free was because they forgot to leave a note about how dog shit the controls were and how little customization the user had. I thought about other games like Dark Souls with it's "take it or leave it" kind of statute. The difference being that Dark Souls actually had a good control system and was easy to get the hang off. Dota2 however feels like i'd spend at least 2 months fighting the controls to even enjoy the game. If it wasn't for the controls I think I'd actually enjoy the game. It had many other cool things like destructible terrain and creep denial making it very authentic as it's own Moba. However controls are at the heart of every game and without the heart it's a dead game that could of been a lot more if they actually gave a shit.
