I think you're confused. There are a lot of things that react with ammonia in dangerous ways, but hydrochloric acid isn't one of them. The two combined will produce Ammonium Chloride, and yes, if breathed in sufficient quantities it could kill you, it would be from a lack of oxygen, not from anything the ammonium chloride did to your body.

I'll say it again because you seem a little slow: a chart like the one above that doesn't use any empirical form of measurement, only ratios, needs to explain what those ratios mean and how they were reached. Now, again, I'm not saying I disagree with his findings, or that the chart wouldn't fit int he context of the paper it was published in, what I'm saying is that on it's own, without content, it is basically meaningless because there's no empirical units or cited source of information. All it really tells you is what the professor's opinion of the relative harm levels of each drug is.
