There are stories too. I personally like shorter stories more than longer ones because you get to see if it's good in less time.

Also, different kinds of abuse work better for different people. My favorite is unintentional abuse via harsh situations, or even better, the banality of evil when fluffies are efficiently and dispassionately eradicated for convenience. The more sympathetic the fluffy and the more callous their treatment, the better.

First of all. Accurate metaphor this stuff reminds me of heroin because its super addictive feels great but comes with crazy guilt and is also terrible. Second, I did and then I was just freaking out so I stopped it for a while and did my best to avoid it, eventually I just didn't crave it at all. (Talking about fluffies not heroin) Then a thread appeared on 4chan and I didn't look because I knew I'd get sucked in, and I tried not to for a while but eventually I caved and now I'm back in it and there is plenty of new stuff but it'll run out eventually.

This is a pretty perfect depiction of the appeal of fluffies. What's happening to it is horrible, but instead of sadness or outrage the most prevalent feeling is of being truly alive. I doubt there's a word for it, but then again fluffies seem like the only genre able or willing to even focus on that.

It's a very fleshed out world, but what drives it home for me is how fascinating the perfect black hole in human conscience regarding fluffies is. When you look at evil in our world, it's corruption. People try and justify why they do bad things and the lapses in judgement are infuriating.

But in stuff like >>698694175
there is no justification, you could never justify that. So instead the people in this universe don't even bother. To them it's as obvious that fluffies are worthless and deserving of abuse as it is that the sky is blue. Instead of getting mad, you're fascinated. It's so bizarre, you've never seen anything like it. Everyone has an excuse for the bad things they do, but nobody even thinks one is necessary in this world.

I approve that completely, and understand how important hugbox is to the whole world of fluffies. I'd say hugboxing gives a contrast to abuse and vice versa, making them both more enjoyable.

Also, for me fluffy-abuse is a way to vent my hatred for kids, who share most traits with fluffies.
I'm not edgelord enough to kill children so I watch fluffies suffer. Preferably smarties and brats since they are more like real children than the cute, innocent fluffies.

I'd like to see more about the daily life of ferals. Not when they're abused, but when they're just trying to stick together to survive, hugging through hardships of life, or rejoicing over small good things. Feral hugbox would be great, but that's about the hardest possible genre to even come up with ideas for.

Seeing as fluffies are poorly suited for the fera life, it usually would end up sadbox, I'd say.
Especially during autumn/winter.

but sure, I imagine a feral herd could by chance or design, stumble on some sort of servicable habitat that protects them from the weather and most predators, they could eke out a modestly hugboxy existence.

Say, some far off abandonded old military bunker with a small stream and perhaps the remains of an orchard nearby.

Of course, the journey there would constitute a harrowing sadboxy experience in itself.

That's just hellgremlin behavior. What started off as benevolent yet stubborn herd-leaders eventually evolved into its own fluffy subfandom, being as far removed from the original canon fluffies as the canon fluffies are from original MLP. Basically hellgremlins and justified abuse are everything canon fluffies are not, and it's literally impossible to get the same feels from them as it is from canon. I know many people enjoy them, but for me hateable fluffies are the antithesis of everything I like about the canon ones. Not saying they should stop liking what I don't like, just that their version of fluffies is aimed from the start for entirely different feels than mine is.
>>
>>698698607
I've considered writinga story who just has a sort of neighbourly relation to a feral herd. Watching them do their thing, seeing the rise and fall of smarties, intra-herd politics etc, and only interacting with the ferals in a distant, detached but mostly polite, vaguely non-hostile manner.
>>
>>698698998
Given the highly disjointed storytelling and artwork, there is really only minute amounts of canon. Pretty much everything seems based more on individual head canon (or head cannon as it is often misspelled).

I rarely let stuff like that bother me.

Indeed, all the fluffy fandom is based on headcanons, but the "canon fluffy" has stuck as the term opposite to hellgremlins. Even without an official canon it's safe to say that the raping, murdering sociopaths of the hellgremlin genre are something that definitely isn't what fluffies in general are about.

Well, that's true for cats and dogs too.

but they can be let outside to shit and piss, unlike fluffies who tend to annihilate themselves in hilariously retarded ways. Such as trying to hug niggers, despite tasting like chicken.
>>
>>698699778
I always preferred that their cruelty comes about as not understanding the consequences of their actions, or even the fact that their actions even have consequences.

Things like injuring foals by being too retarded to realise basic concepts like gravity are fine, but having them randomly rape foals for funsies is just the squeamish types trying to justify being into something fucked up.

im not convinced that a fluffy wouldn't steal food or foals to not starve. male fluffies in heat would try to mount anything that looks like another fluffy. a mare which "traded" food for an enfie foal wouldn't do so under coerison, as that'd be unloving. rather, they'd be so hungry that they'd be considering eating a foal themselves and then get an opportunity to eat something else. once the food is gone, other priorities kick in. a mother would try to then take back the foal, attacking the rapist to his dismay.
>>
Fluffies represent the worst of humanity, fluffy 2.o comic coming soon
>>
>>698699394
feeding it. Fluffies will will and can eat poop to survive (but hate it of course)
>>
>>698701776
so you could have mothers who eat their children and then wonder where they are, then wonder who took them, then cry that they're gone.

mothers in captivity might be a bit more developed and remember that they have "tummy babbies" - babbies that live in their tummy now. they're not gone, but remembered as loving foals.

you could have colts who enf then feel bad and give huggies to make the fluffy feel better. after that, they could be coersed into staying special friends or just leave to find food elsewhere.
>>
>>698702466
runt foals wouldn't starve because their mothers thought they were evil(except alicorns), but because of simple neglect. the "favoritiest" baby would get the vast majority of the milk and the runt would never wean, eventually bringing death. poopie smelling babbies would still be cleaned by their mother, but if there's too many, she might stop cleaning them completely and then associate their bad smell with them and refuse to continue to clean and feed them. bigger babbies are better babbies and thus get more attention. in this way you preserve the heirarchy and the fluffy mindset.

I do like a good 'fluffy dies due to being stupid' story.

Someone had a WIP story of a feral fluffy living in an alley getting into the adjacent machine shop. Once there, it sees SHINY SKETTIS, which must be the bestest skettis, and goes and eats a bunch of swarf.

One of the best death-via-stupidity ones I've read was this feral herd with several former domestics, including the smarty entering a house via a pet door. The smarty knows exactly where humans get there skettis from - a sorry box on the counter that makes a humming noise when used.

The human opens the sketti-sorry-box, puts something in it, presses buttons, and the light comes on and it hums, then, after it beeps, they open the door and get skettis out.

After the herd has a fatality or two while getting on to the counter, the smarty realizes they need to put something in the sketti-sorry-box, so he grabs a foal. He hits a few buttons, ignores the screeching that eventually goes silent, waits for the beep, then... skettis?! No, wait, it's just a foal, but it actually smells pretty good. Not quite like skettis, but still smells like nice nummies.

The smarty and herd knows he is on to something - all they need is a few more foals and for the smarty to hit the right buttons...

>heirarchy
>fluffy mindset.

Only in hellgremlins. I don't blame people for enjoying it, but I feel it's important to point out that the whole baby hierarchy thing is something specific to that genre only, just so people who'd like the canon fluffies know there's a fandom without the favoritism and fluffy-on-fluffy cruelty as well.
>>
>>698703328
but the male has needs too. if his genetics over grew his testies and he is in heat, he might attempt, but the scree of the baby might stop him (oh the tradegy, let me hug you) or might force violence (shut up while i finish and then ill give hugs). now hardline old schoolers might say that's still not acceptable, but im saying that it's not beyond reason that a fluffy would use violence to fulfill their needs. the longer a fluffies genetic line goes without domestic ownership, the more violence is an option. indeed these ferals would need to use violence often for food or safety, but not for esteem or social hierarchy, as that goes against the fluffy way of life.
>>

the heirarchy idea comes from the need of mothers to allocate resources wisely. if they don't then they'd be wasting precious energy on foals that might not otherwise survive. do you really want your weak, two headed baby suckling as long as the big strong one when only the big one that gives you the "bestest" feelings of how its supposed to be?

Can anyone link Comics or Stories that involve just day to day occurrences with herds? I'm not talking about being a part of the story, just sort of watching it happen.

>>
>>698706701
1 and 2. Yes fluffies can learn and inherit learned behaviour. We can see this through the ferals how they build nests, dig holes for food, know to avoid cars and scary humans, etc. Household fluffies have more difficulties with this.

3. "Smarties" themselves seem to be learned behavior by imitating another fluffy from their own little herd. They seem much more bullies than leaders.

4. Yes but it never really works out as planned because a "Smarty" believes itself to be the smartest and toughest. A good smarty will take into consideration its herd's needs before making up a plan. A rare trait found in any other smarty.

1. Fluffies can learn, and lessons stick to them best when combined with intense emotions.
2. No, genetics don't work that way.
3. Only in extreme situations like protecting their babies or under extreme coercion.
4. Yes, although they're still pretty stupid.

Their memory, language and personality are encoded in their genetics, so when a fluffy is born "knowing" that pegasus fluffies can fly, they may never learn that reality doesn't work like that. They have encyclopedic stores of language information and knowledge of balls, blocks and stuff, but not much intelligence to actually use it.
>>
>>698707389
because in the source matieral they're manufactured creatures with the label of "biotoy" rather than "animal", which in itself presupposes that living things could be patented and owned as "artificial". imagine if the same people who brought you test tube hamburgers started making pets.
>>
>>698707389
They lack basic self preservation instincts, are nearly incapable of learning and most of their speech is pre programmed, not developing intelligence.

Compared to creatures like Dolphins, Cephalopods or great apes, which can recognise abstract concepts, they barely class as sentient, let alone sapient.

I like to compare fluffies to a videogamer that has learned all the stats of all the objects and enemies in a game, but didn't even know what kind of game it was before actually starting.

"Why can't I play with this ball? What? There are different kinds of balls?"
"I asked this human to be my new daddy but he kicked me. What the fuck?! Fluffies aren't for hurties!"

She didn't "go apeshit and leave". She deleted her old works because she felt embarrassed by them and wanted to be known for her new works. She even kept drawing, but her previous fans were so hellbent of declaring her as satanspawn and everything that was killing the fandom that nothing, not even new pictures were enough to dissuade them from their hate.

In the end she *did* leave, most likely in horror of how what she had once considered her fans could turn against her in such an irrevocable frenzy. Seriously, it was scary just witnessing the hate she got.

>She deleted her old works because she felt embarrassed by them and wanted to be known for her new works

That doesn't make sense. If your new stuff is better than your old stuff, all that means is people can look back and see that you've improved. There's nothing embarrassing in that unless you've got some ego issues.
