The closest I ever came to it in real life was with a blue-eyed blonde with buck teeth named Carole.
Yes, she was a real woman and, yes, her face bore vaguely rabbity features. (You know, like how some people have a "horse face?")
She was small, not more than four feet tall and thick! NOT fat just thickly built. She was docile, sweet, very loving and affectionate.
She was the love of my life and I was hers.
She died in 2004 from pancreatic cancer.
The day of her death was the day my life ended. Things have never been the same.

It wasn't Eric Schwartz, it was Reed Waller and Kate Worley. Kate died in 2002 before the series was completed.
In order to honor Worley's work in her tremendous contributions to that series (she was the script writer) Waller and Worley's then-husband-made widower got together and began finishing the series in 2005. It was completed in 2007 and the rest is history.
I loved that series more than I dare to say and I couldn't wait for each new comic to come out.
It saddened me deeply when Worley died and dismayed me because I thought, at that point, that was the end and the series would remain forever incomplete. (Much hair ripping.)
Happily, it's all done and I've gotten to read the conclusion to that epic, ground-breaking and amazing series.
