My gf and I made it through the weird phase of the aftermath and eventually we were able to carry on. Her parents and I are on good terms too. To be honest, I went off of it for soooo long after that. Every time I needed to shit I went straight to the toilet and just let it drop and tried not to think about it. This resulted in my taking a break from whatever me and my fiance were doing at the time since we both work from home now. She would literally just tell me to hold it, that its ok and she has no issue with me still doing it. She still does it too and she said she was working on something "different" with it although she said she wouldn't tell me unless I started again. I started again about 2 months ago but it's kind of hard to get the hang of it again and its not as consistent. Hopefully, I'll be back up to snuff before long but we'll see.
