My best gaming memories were playing WoW with my online buddies... raiding, pvping and all that jazz. If I were to play it again, it would be solely for the sake of nostalgia, but ultimately it would be an empty experience. At launch it was garbage because of the Auction House and blizzard making the game shit so they can make money off of it. When they got rid of it they retooled it be actually fun and satisfying to play with good drops and whatnot. The always online DRM is still shit though.
D2 didn't age too well but it's fun enough. You're just lost in nostalgia if you think it's mechanically superior to 3 though.

This may be nostalgia fueling my opinion, but this was the very first console game I ever played. I got a copy of it recently after ten years, and the game still looks amazing, the combat is intense, and while there are some bullshit missions, there's not many of them and it experimented with achievements and unlockable skins/heads, the latter actually affecting your stats for the campaign missions.

Ugh. I remember being 12 and going to Sears with a friend to play that on their kiosk. For some reason they had their video game kiosks in the middle of the women's lingerie. With the sound turned off. Anyways, we were there playing the game and this middle aged woman came up behind us and smacked us in the back of the head and called us sexual deviants for playing such a disgusting game that portrays a woman in that way. We just stood there and kept going on anout how demeaning the game was and that women shouldn't have to parade around for our gratification. Needless to say we never went back there again...

Morrowind was one of the first games I got on Xbox and poured hundreds of hours into it and hundreds more once the GOTY Edition came out with the two expansion packs. Oblivion and Skyrim are fucking shadows compared to Morrowind and Daggerfall, if that.
