However in English and Welsh contract law, the point at which the contract is binding or agreed is not as clear as it would be in a shop, ie pay money, walk out with goods.
The relevant bit can be found on HP's T&Cs page, which says it's not complete until the item is delivered.
Therefore, by all means submit an order, but until you take delivery of the item be prepared for HP to cancel your order, which they are entitled to do. It may be the case that if HP try to find these orders, they only search for orders under £10. Therefore, you *might* be able to slip this through by putting an add-on or amending the spec. Sure, you'd pay a few hundred pounds but you might get it past HP legitimately.
