That's not how it works at all. mac is a unix based OS, so no windows based viruses will work naturally, but that's not what gave macs a safety net it was their small userbase. Now that that userbase is much larger and they have a bigger footprint on the market (bigger than they ever had before) the people that write viruses have a reason to make them for mac, and they've been getting some nasty viruses for years now. Forgot to reference tor, ok so tor anonymizes your traffic making it virtually impossible to determine where you are, but if enough nodes get compomized you can be deanonymized it's unlikely but possible. The good news is your traffic should be heavily encrypted. The bad news is your IP address could be unmasked as far as I know this has never happened as of yet.
