I have finally understood why anyone claims to like justified abuse, but they're wrong. They *don't* like it, they're just attracted to it the same way news promote the negative and reality tv uses intentionally annoying characters.

However, being angry is only a negative emotion, and you're not going to be happy because you spend your time on getting angry at imaginary beings. The whole generations crap is an attempt to shoehorn the hellgremlin fluffies into original canon where they don't belong (the reason fluffies were never fixed was that their genetic spaghetti code would have been too much work to decode after the facility was destroyed). I posted my first story to the Booru recently (The Street Clearer). I just made it funny and ridiculous, and it seemed to go down pretty well. I had the protagonist think my thoughts (I'm quite sympathetic to the fluffies), while doing something else entirely.

Old fluffy canon is shit and makes for a boring trope. It is more interesting with "smarty" fluffies attempting to lead herds to salvation or thinking they can challenge humans or other animals and win or fluffies killing brown babies or alicorns. It leads to more interesting content like herds that learn the value of money or "sketties paypr" and attempt to steal it from humans on the street or the masters of domesticated fluffies.

I dunno, working out money seems like an advanced concept, one they wouldn't keep ahold of for long. I recall one comic that attempted to teach a fluffy the value of such things, and even after intensive suffering, he still didn't get it.
Feral fluffies are impulsive, demanding instantaneous gratification for minimal effort. They're a little too dumb for forward thinking concepts. I'm pretty sure that winter surprises them each year.
In pact, I've never heard of a fluffy having a summer and winter fur coat, unlike other animals. I'd imagine they just have thick fur growing constantly, with minimal shedding. Could make for an interesting plot concept. How would heavily furred Fluffies deal with the temperatures of places like Arizona?
I hate newschool fluffies because they're made to be hated, and I don't want to waste my freetime feeling angry.
However, the worst thing about the new fluffers is that they're promoting their thing at the expense of the original fluffies. It's like your favorite bar got popular with gay people, who then went around telling everyone that "This is a great place for people who love cocks! Cocks on your face and ass! This is the place for people who love cocks!". Although you'd be okay with them liking whatever they like, the problem is that they're ruining your place by driving away those who'd share your interests.
I'd be completely okay with newschool fluffies existing if they were clearly their own thing with its own name. There clearly are two fandoms under the same name with completely opposite idea of what an average fluffy is like, and I hate to think how many potential fans of original fluffies have turned away in disgust when their first impressions have been of its opposite.

Don't some fluffies learn concepts like how electronics (TVs, remote controls,levers/switches for food dispensers) work? If pavlov's dog can learn that a bell means food time, couldn't a fluffy understand that humans will trade green papers or shiny objects like jewelry for skettis? It could even be a point that a fluffy never learns how much each bill is worth and end up overpaying for food and mistake it's value in weight or volume and not by denomination.

Probably one of the biggest things I don't get about the older content though, is why anyone would amputate a fluffy and make it a fluff pillow. It just seems like it'd be a headache. The fluffy becomes depressed, and completely and uttrely reliant on it's owner.

Considering the compromises and attempts to merge the headcanons, why can't the new fans accept that bad fluffies are an exception like they originally were? It would make sense that even a few smarties here and there would cause a lot of conflicts because they actively challenge humans. Instead the newfags suggest that the *good* fluffies should be the exceptions, usually shop-bought ones and even then requiring 24/7 beatings to keep them straight and narrow while the assholes would be abundant wherever you looked.
