Unfortunately, that means saving for a long ass time, you don't get the "Here you go" things that good looking people get, the good looking ones, if they are ever broke, are picked out and brought to middle class by the middle class. The uglies are left to fend for themselves.
So buy good clothes/cologne. Speak without swearing. Always work 110%, and make friends. If someone who is good looking speaks to you, go out of your way to maintain the contact (They will be useful later because they are an in, to other social groups) - you may be ugly and broke, but if you play the part, you can blend in through hard work until you land that middle class income.
