I am disillusioned and find it hard to defend an officer's action or regret their loss. When someone does their job poorly we complain and do not honor said business. Same should apply to government workers, state, local, etc.
I used to work specifically on a task force that investigated officer involved shootings. Meaning that me and others watched body can footage, interviewed officers, talked to eyewitnesses, watched dash cam footage, etc. Let me tell you, 99 times out of 100, officers are COMPLETELY justified when shooting a black suspect. The other 1% of the time, it's questionable at worst. In those instances, 9/10 times, a grand jury made up of ordinary citizens chooses not to indict. You figure out where the problem lies.
